Everyone always says that the supernatural world doesn't exist in real life, right? Well, in this story it does exist, and center...
*A/N: First of all, let me say happy sunday to you! And second, I would like to thank you, my readers, once again for giving my story a chance. I know I say that a lot, but I really am thankful. I hope you enjoy today's chapter!*
Taehyung's POV -
My ears are ringing as I slowly tried to sit upright, finally coming to, but something was in the way of me doing that. Surely, it must have something to do with the way I can vaguely feel someone dragging me away.
I'm almost positive that has to be related to the fact that the explosive mine was still setting off. Through all this fuzziness and confusion, I could still hear our names being called in the distance. Or, at least it sounds like its in the distance to me.
"Seol Hee! Irene! Taehyung! Pull yourselves together! Snap out of it already and come to your senses!," my brother yelled at us. I think I heard someone telling him that yelling wasn't going to help. Everything is slowly coming back to me more clearly now.
That's right!
I am the one who is supposed to help them!
What am I doing lying here for?
When we were finally far away, I wobbly made my way to Seol Hee and Irene. I put my hands right above their stomachs and my hands began to glow white. Irene's external damage was already in the final stages of the healing process, but I can't say the same about the small bite mark that will need to have it's vemon extracted.
Seol Hee, on the other hand, was healing at a slower rate, so I put both hands over her to help speed it up. This might be a good time to mention that Jin, Chen, Wendy, and Jisoo are all out there working on those with minor injuries since they don't possess my healing powers.
"When Irene wakes up, hold her down. Don't let her move an inch," I instructed them. A few minutes later, she gave an earpiercing screech and almost reached up to scratch the bite mark. It took Sehun, Joy, Taehyun, JB and Lisa to hold her down. Joy was indispensable so she wouldn't teleport away from us. Venom in our system does not do us any good.
"And Seol Hee? How is she?," her brother asked. I was done healing her and moved on to her head, where I find it injured significantly. The evidence was there in the pool of blood begnning to form. There are things that are beyond my ability and her head was one of them. One mistake, and I could do more bad than good.
All I could do was stop her bleeding and seal it up. And all that's left to do s wait to find out the extent of the damage in her head.
"Taehyung! Answer me! What's taking you so long?," Crap. I forgot I didn't answer him.
"She's fine. The worst is over, she'll be out for a while though so all we can do is wait and see," although I wanted to stay by her side, I could do nothing more to help her as she is now, so I got up and went to Irene.
Her screeching didn't stop, understandably, it only got louder. "Does anyone have something sharp?," I somehow lost the scalpel I always carry in case of emergencies. D.O handed me a Clip-point blade.
"Here, I think this will help," I was going to ask why he would need it, but I put that aside for now and thanked him instead. I went on to cutting over the area where the teeth marks are. My hands glow white again as I work to extract the venom right back out and to keep the cut from getting healed quickly. Her screeching and cursing lessened as more of that stuff came out.
She finally gave a sigh of relief.
"Thanks, doctor Kim. I owe you one," I shook my head and stood up. I helped her up.
"Do you think your people can get us to JB's place so she can rest?," she was injured after all, I can't have her do it herself.
"I thank you all for what you all did today. Please don't think that we only call you in ou time of need only, we are family, and as such we would be there for you unconditionally in a heartbeat. We will clean up what's left so rest assured and do what you need to," my brother was basically telling them to go home after all this crazyness.
"I also thank you all for what you've done for my sister today. We will never forget," JB gave each of them a handshake before they went their separate ways. Well, almost all of them did. I picked up Seol Hee and carried her bridal style.
"Alright, here goes," ignoring everyone's protests, Irene brought us, along with Joy, back to his place. JB guided me to a room, no, I mean to her room. There was no mistaken that this was her room since her scent was everywhere. I laid her on the bed and JB tucked her in properly.
"Let's go so she can rest," he told me. I nodded, but looked at her as we made our way out.
"I hope you take it easy from now on, at least until it doesn't hurt anymore," I heard my brother say.
"Your brother did a great job so I almost don't feel the pain, but for now at least, I will," she responded before wishing Seol Hee a prompt recovery and then disapppearing.
"Okay, while we wait for her to wake up, we need to discuss something," my brother and I nodded, knowing full well what something is.
"Well, then let's get down to business."
Her POV -
When the darkness consumed me, I felt nothing at all. I was just floating in an empty abyss of nothingness. But then, as time passed, I started feeling once more.
I don't know how much time has passed, or if I was getting better or worse, but what I did know was I unmistakenly felt something, even if it was just barely, move inside of me.
