The masked ball. Pt2

I was in my night gown laying on my bed with my phone out.

Should I call her? Or text her? Or is it too soon?

The party ended about 2 hours ago at 12. So she may be asleep. Wait is this even her number?

What if she tricked me? No she wouldn't just do that... wait she gave me her number! Does she like me?!

But she likes Saskue

SHE DOESNT KNOW ITS ME! Y/N! STUPID STUPID.

I groaned while still thinking about tonight. I should have told her it's me...

Wait I'll just tell her at school that it's me! Or should I do it on text? No that would show I'm weak. I need to tell her in person. I'll do it tomorrow! Tomorrow is Sunday so I can go whenever I wanted.

Then I need to go to bed now! Cant sleep all day.

I then got under my covers and tried to fall asleep.

I can't believe I'm doing this.

I couldn't sleep last night. I was so worried and excited about today.

I've liked her for so long and I'm finally about to have the courage to talk to her. Okay let's see, I brought the roses, I'm wearing nice clothes, my hairs not a rats nest, I'm clean, I think, and that should be all....

I took a deep breath and rang the doorbell.

"Ah! Coming!" A voice said from the other side of the doorway. But it wasn't Sakuras...

The door opened and I saw Naruto.

"Yo Y/N! How's it going?" The kind boy smiled.
"Hey Naruto.... I'm doing good! By any chance is Sakura here?" I replied.

"Yeah she's taking a bath right now but come in!" The boy held the door open. I sat down in the living room on a white chair.

"Hey Saskue! Y/N is here!" Naruto called out while sitting down on the couch.

Great

The tall boy came out of the kitchen with a glass of tea, while giving me a stare.

"Who is she?" He asked while pointing to me.

"I'm Y/N L/N. I go to all your classes. But we have never talked before." I said while trying not to sound weak.

He hummed in response and sat down on the couch.

"Soooo Y/N." Naruto smirked.

I looked the boy in the eyes.

"Whatcha want from Sakura. I mean I saw you two giggling and dancing yesterday and now your here. With flowers. AND! Sakura said she gave the last person she danced with her number!" Naruto said while yelling and giving me a perverted look.

"Naruto. I'm just here. Because I want to talk to her.—" I was soon cut off by Naruto.

"Y/N DO YOU LIKE SAKURA?!" He yelled while jumping up and down.

"Naruto calm down!" I said in a hushed voice while getting up and covering the his mouth.

"That doesn't matter!" I accidentally yelled.

Crap

"So she's not denying it... interesting." Saskue said while Sipping his tea.

"You see Y/N me and Naruto have a suspicion that you like Sakura, for a while now. And from what I just heard. You. Like . Her."

I sat down in defeat. I can't win between them.

I put my face in my hands

"Please don't tell her..." I sighed.

There was a long pause before Saskue talked.

"Sakura is Pan sexual." He said while sipping his tea. Again.

I looked up in amazement. What?!!

I said in my calmest, coolest voice,, not trying to sound excited. "really? She likes girls?! Wait how do you know this." I said the last part louder.

"We read her diary." Saskue shivered. Naruto then gave Saskue joking look.

Saskue then gave Naruto a look.

I understood what they were saying.

"Hey Naruto! Where's my- oh Y/N!" Sakura came down the stairs completely changing her voice.

"Y/N! Why are you here?" She came to me.

She had a towel around her neck that she was washing her hair with. She had on her day clothes and her inside shoes.

"Oh I just want to give you this!" I grabbed the roses from the chair and handed them to her.

She smiled as she got them. "Thank you so much Y/N!" She giggled. "I love them! Here come with me let's go water them!" She grabbed my hand and lead me to the kitchen. Naruto gave me a thumbs up as we went around the corner.

I watched as Sakura put the roses in water. She then fiddle around with the roses making them look neat.

"Hey Sakura?" I cleared my throat.

"Sooo that masked ball you went to last night..." I trailed off before hearing Sakura.

"The Masked Dancer was you? Wasn't it?" She giggled, still not looking up from the patch of Roses.

"Y-Yes!" I said with hope, I was now starting to think she liked me.

She covered her face with her hair and stopped playing with the roses.

She left the counter and walked over to me. She grabbed my hand and looked me into the eyes. "Y/N! I like you!" She sputtered out. I then saw her face. It was covered with red.

I got flustered and I felt my whole body heat up.

"Sakura! I like you too!" I exclaimed while hugging her.

She jumped but then hugged me back

"I've liked you for so long now! I'm glad the plan worked." She grabbed my hands again. Her eyes were now sparkling with happiness.

"What plan?" I asked in confusion.

"Hehe. So last night me and the boys had a plan where....

1) Naruto would pull you to the dance floor and dance with you for a little bit.

2) when the slow dance started Naruto would swing you over to me and I would dance with you.

3) I would then start conversation and give you my phone number hoping you would call/text me."

Sakura laughed while rubbing the back of her head.

"But don't worry everything we talked about last night was true! I wasn't faking it! Well I was, but only so you could notice me!" She said frantically while waving her hands in the air.

I took this opportunity the grab her head and kiss her cheek.

She froze at the site.

She then kissed my nose.
