Story Plot: background character

(this may probably be of better use in fanfictions)

In this story, the main character is actually a background character in a (movie, anime, book, etc.) but one day, this character is some how brought into the light and their mediocre life is now turned into something exciting.

EXAMPLE: anime= saiki k

(YES YOU CAN USE THIS SAME EXAMPLE JUST LET KNOW SO I CAN READ IT!!)

Y/N POV

I fiddled with my fingers, obviously not paying attention to anything that is being said by the teacher. I'm basically the background, not important in anyway possible but what no one even Saiki knows that there is just a very few us background characters are the fourth-wall breakers. We have knowledge about everything the main and side characters don't including Saiki's powers the only disadvantage of all this knowledge is not having a true worth to the anime which I totally don't mind.

I love being the background character and my mediocre life.

"Y/N."

I looked up wide eyed. I'm the background character! This isn't supposed to happen, characters like me are never noticed!

"yeesss..sir?" I asked not even knowing the teachers name.

"this equation, work it out." the teacher said sternly knowing I wasn't paying a attention and I haven't been doing so since I stepped foot in this school. With a gulp and a deep breath I walked up to the front of the class, and stared at the algebra question.

Saiki POV

I stared at y/n in confusion. how come I can not read his mind? maybe he's an idiot like Nendou (I hope I spelt his name right). y/n stared at the board then shrugged.

"Yup, I don't know what the answer is." he said nervously.

heh, maybe he is an idiot.

So yea that's basically an example of what this plot would be like, of course you can do whatever you want, let you're imagination run loose.
