A/N: I am a morning person. How about you? Are you a night owl or an early bird?

***

The sun shone through the slightly parted curtains, flooding down a long dash across Beam's face as he slept. After all the ramps, interviews, and the shows that he appeared in, he had the time to visit the "turbulent island paradise", the Kefalonia. His visit there last time was short-lived and he knows he deserve this. Days like this the brunette would sleep in for as long as he could, keeping himself away from public eye. He often slept till for a whole day and Forth knows that.

Beam would be what you called, not a morning person. In fact, he disliked mornings. He didn't really know why, though having thought about it often, it was simply the fact that he did. It was like asking why Forth is effective as being his bodyguard and a great lover, there was no real reason to it. It just was. Ah yes, Forth. Beam had been dating him for over two years now, it was a common and unspoken knowledge in the organization that he and Forth is an item. They had moved in together about a month ago, and Beam, being a self-absorbed person he is, wasn't used to living with another person. That was possibly why, at three in the afternoon, when a loud noise from the other room echoed through the manor, Beam had almost had a heart attack (it brought him back to the time, he almost died in that same manor, thank God, Intouch is dead)

Jerking awake, his eyes flew open. He held his duvets firmly to his chest, fear flowing through his veins. Who was there? Had someone broken in? Were they dangerous? Where they trying to kill him? Where's Forth? Why isn't beside him? His thoughts where cut short with a rough shout from the other room. It sounded familiar. It was Forth. It's definitely Forth, he may have a composed façade and authoritative stance but when you get to live with him, you'll know how clumsy and scattered brain he is when they are alone together. Not the usual Forth that he's colleagues knew. Taking in a sharp breath, Beam allowed his state of shock to drop. He should have known sooner that it was Forth. The man posed no threat to him, yet even so Beam still could feel his heart pounding in his own chest, ears beating like a drum. Slowly, deliberately, Beam crept out of bed and into the hallway, wearing nothing but his night shirt and boxers. Turning to his left, he walked towards the kitchen where he thought the noise was coming from. If his guess was correct. It was.

Pots and pans scattered across the floor and the rack that had formerly held them to the wall was disheveled, tilting to the right slightly, and there on its glory standing in the kitchen was Forth. Beam pressed his lips at the sight, eyes watering slightly from having just woken up. He stood there as the Forth cussed his breath - much to Beam's irritation - and began to pick up the pans. He stood silently for a minute before opening his mouth to talk.

Forth flinched when Beam make his presence known. "What on earth is going on in here?"

"Baby! Did I wake you?" Forth stood, one pot hanging from his hand, staring over at the other man. He looked like a child being caught with their hand in a cookie jar. This made Beam scowl.

"Yes, you are quite obvious about it." He could feel his patience starting to squander, leaving him slightly restless. He wanted to go back to bed. "Are you planning on making any more pointless noise? I was hoping to sleep in today."

"Wasn't planning on it, no."

"Good." And with that, Beam turned on the heel of his foot, arms wrapping firmly around his chest as he ready to make his way back to his room. Before he could get more than two steps away, someone was take hold of his arm. Looking behind him Beam saw that Forth was smiling. The kind of smile that would melt your heart as well as gives you second thought of what he is smiling about. That sly smile.

"How about you give me a minute and I'll come to bed with you?"

"Are you trying to suggest what I think you're trying to imply? Because if so, then you can stay out here. I'm exhausted and frankly, I'm rather grouchy right now too."
