"This means I have to get up," You grumble and stand up. "Ok Ray, where is the pack?"
"I can't tell you," He says and coughs.
"I heard you the first fifty times," You say and roll your eyes. "You either tell us or I continue prodding andpoking at you for as long as I need to before you giveus the information we need."
"Ok, fine!" Ray yells and you put the dart back into the glass of water. "They're up on the smoky mountains!"
"Thank you for co-operating," You say and pulls him offthe wall before slamming him onto the pool table. "This is a three step process, Ray. This is step one. I want you to drink his blood."
"I already told you where to find the pack," Ray says completely defeated and Klaus walks over. "What more do you want from me?"
"Have you been listening to a word I've been saying?" You ask Ray and roll your eyes at him.
"I have great plans for you," Klaus announces and cuts his wrist, making Ray drink his blood. "You'll thank me for it later, huh. There we go, attaboy!"
You turn to the door as Stefan walks into the bar seeming stressed and yo ujust wave at him carefully before turning back to Ray just before he begins speaking.
"What are you going to do now?" Ray asks and you smile at him.
"It's time for step two," You say and Ray seems confused, you twist his neck in an upward fashion which killed him instantly. You then turn to Stefa which makes Klaus notice his presence for the first time.
"You're back," Klaus says calmly.
"Did you doubt me?" Stefan asks.
"Not for a second," Klaus answers. "I knew you'd pass the test. You still care for your brother, for your old life."
"Nah, I don't care about anything anymore," Stefan says and you try hard not to scoff at his ignorance.
"You put on a good show Stefan," Klaus compliments. "I almost believe you. Let's hops, for your brother's sake, he does. You never stop caring about family, do you? But, every time you feed, the blood makes it easier to let go."
"Let's get on our way," You say and Klaus nods as you walk out of the bar. Stefan carries Ray and Klaus grabs you before speeding you over to the foot of the mountain range. Stefan wasn't far behind the both of you. You opened your bag and walked away from the two to get changed into something more suitable.

"Let's get moving, love," Klaus says and you begin your journey in front of everyone. You used to go for runs in the woods back at Beacon Hills whenever you could. Life was so peaceful when you were in the forest, it just felt like you were at home.
"You ok?" Klaus' voice brings you out of your thoughts as he talks to Stefan. "Is Ray getting heavy?"
"I'm fine," Stefan says keeping the conversation blunt.
"You sure about that?" Klaus asks. "You know, we've been walking for quite some time now. If you need some water or a little sit-down..."
"You know," Stefan begins talking and follows behind the both of you. "I get that we're, uh... we're stuck together, but if we could maybe just skip the chitchat, it'd be great."
"So much brooding," Klaus states and you nod in agreement. "Your self-loathing is suffocating you, my friend."
"Maybe it's cause I'm tired of hunting werewolves," Stefan states. "We've been at it all summer."
"Thanks to our pal, Ray," Klaus says happily. "We found ourselves a pack. There."
You stop walking and look at all the people walking around and communicating. Stefan walks into their camp and puts Ray gently on the ground and a woman instantly rushes over to him.
"Ray!" She screams and kneels down beside him. "Oh, my God. What's going on? Who are you?"
"The important question is, who am I?" Klaus says andyou both walk into the camp. "Please forgive the intrusion. My name is Klaus."
"You're the hybrid," The same woman says causing Klaus to smile.
"You've heard of me," Klaus says and turns to you. "Fantastic."
You sit down on a log and both Stefan and Klaus decide to join you. Everyone else remains standing and staring at the three of you in the utmost confusion.
"It's fascinating, actually..." Klaus says. "A werewolf who isn't beholden to the moon, a vampire who doesn't burn in the sun. A true hybrid."
Ray wakes up with a start, his breathing drawing obvious attention to himself.
"Excellant time, Ray," Klaus compliments. "Very dramatic."
"What's happening to me?" Ray asks.
"Stefan?" Klaus passes on the honor to Stefan who gets up.
"Are any of you human?" Stefan asks. "Your friend here needs human blood to complete his transition to vampire. If he doesn't get it, he will die."
"Doesn't take much, just a sip," Klaus says and stands up. "Anyone? A boyfriend, a girlfriend, along for the ride?"
"You!" Klaus says to a man and rushes over to him, biting his forearm. Stefan grabs the mana nd throws him to the ground before Ray. A woman protests but you begin strangling here.
"If you don't drink it, Ray," Stefan speaks to him. "I will. The problem is I don't know how to stop."
"It's the new order, sweetheart," Klaus speaks and looks at the woman. "You join us, or you die."
"I'd rather die than be a vampire!" She says and you grimace.
"Wrong choice," You say and Klaus forces her to drink his blood just as Ray drink blood from the man before him.
"She'll thank me for that late," Klaus says and snaps her neck causing her to drop dead almost instantly. "Okay, who's next?"
Klaus goes around and changes every person, he uses his blood to heal the human man and compels him to remain calm throughout the whole thing. You look over at Ray who was shivering uncontrollably.
"They're dead," Ray mumbles. "They're all dead."
"Ah, he's through his transition," Klaus says happily. "He should be feeling better soon."
"So is this your master plan?" Stefan asks. "Build an army of hybrid slaves?"
"No, not slaves," Klaus corrects him. "Soldiers, comrades."
"For what war, might I ask?" Stefan asks.
"Oh," Klaus says and walks towards Stefan. "You don't arm yourself after war has been declared, Stefan. You build your army so big that no one ever dares pick a fight."
"What makes you so sure they'll be loyal?" Stefan asks and you roll your eyes at his many questions.
"Well, it's not difficult to be loyal when you're on the winning team," Klaus states. "That's something you'll learn once you shake that horribly depressive chip off your shoulder."
"That's why you're, uh..." Stefan thinks for a moment. "You're keeping me around? To witness my attitude adjustment?"
Klaus looks over at Ray and you turn your attention to the man. His eyes were now bleeding causing you to stand up and walk over to him.
"You'll know why I'm keeping you around when I've decided that I want you to know," Klaus says and you wipe some of the blood off his face.
"Something's wrong," You state.
"That shouldn't be happening, should it?" Stefan asks and you turn to him.
