Part 3

Draco still didn't attend the anniversary banquet. He also remained away from the house but would visit during the day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This gave Harry a chance to go work and it gave Draco a chance to visit with Teddy. Although somedays he dreaded leaving Teddy, as that would mean either going to his mothers or to Astoria where he was surrounded by people pressuring marriage.

"Do you love her?" Teddy asked while they were outside playing with Ginny's pigmypuff.

"Who?" Draco asked cautiously

"Astoria do you love her? Teddy asked again,

"It's really not that simple. Teddy" Draco started

"So it's a no, Harry said when your in love it's not a question anymore, you just know"

Draco was surprised for a moment, had Harry said that about Draco? Was Harry in love with him? His heart beat spiked for a moment.

"He's not at work, he's going to propose to Ginny"

It took a moment for Draco to understand what Teddy was telling him. It definitely made more sense for Harry to propose to Ginny. Even so, there was a moment of hurt in Draco's chest he couldn't quite understand. Wait. Harry was proposing to Ginny, right now!

"Teddy, we should be excited for Harry, it's about time him and the female weasel tie the knot" Draco finally said

"Why would they tie Uncle Theo?" Teddy asked while changing his hair color to match the pink in the pigmypuff and staring up into his eyes,

"No its a common phrase used to explain someone getting married, tying the knot is what some people do to signify them tying their lives to each other, it has nothing to do with Uncle Theo" Draco sighed, 

"Stupid to use his name then, people should have picked a different word to describe it" Teddy mumbled to himself

Draco decided to leave it at that. He was for sure going to tell Theo about it at some point though, him and his friends could get a laugh out of it. 

It wasn't the evening that Draco was expecting to have, he hadn't heard from Harry and he had yet to come home. He was already a few hours late, this was not his only problem, shortly after dinner, a patronus came through the window and Draco hadn't recognized it right away until it spoke, the small wild cat stared deep into Draco's eyes reflecting the emotions of his friend

"pansy has gone into labor, she needs us" Theodore's voice panicked. The last time Draco had ever heard Theodore Nott panic in such a way was when he got told all the Slytherin's were placed in the dungeons of Hogwarts during the beginning of the battle. 

"Teddy, come on we have to go" Draco called out, 

Teddy came into the living room quickly while still holding the pink ball, but Draco wasn't wasting anytime, he took Teddy's hand and quickly apparated to St. Montgues. 

Upon arrival he saw Chaos. Pansy was nowhere to be seen, Draco was aware she was late for her delivery, but to have Merle and what seemed to be family from each side panicking around the waiting room frightened him. 

"Draco? What's happening?" Teddy whimpered next tp Draco, holding onto him tighter. 

"We're about to find out, aunty pansy isn't feeling well, that's all I know" Draco replied holding him close, 

"Draco!" A voice called out, causing him to turn in all directions to see who had called out,

"Draco here" Someone said while tapping his shoulder,

Hermione stood there with wide eyes, waiting for him to acknowledge her, 

"You're here? I didn't know you were close to her" Draco said,
