A/N: Hey guys! The first part of this I'm typing at school! My name isn't on a website, so no essay for me! Just Watty!
Okay, just to let you know, some of the twitter names I've been using/will use are really twitter users. @LouisPlaysPiano is me. Go ahead and follow me if you want to, I don't really care. I tweet too much about 1D anyways, lol.
Well, enjoy this next chapter guys! I've been working really hard to make my chapters longer and more sentimental, and I think it might be working!!!
Cassie's POV
I am deathly afraid of heights. Even though I'd go to Niall's concerts with him overseas, airplanes still terrify me. So explain to me why I'm sitting on a plane in first class next to Tessa, clinging to the seat for dear life.
After the plane took off, I was able to relax a bit. I took out my phone and scrolled through my wide range of music choices in search of one particular song. When I found it, I smiled. On my eighteenth birthday, Niall took me to his recording studio. He and I recorded my favorite songs together, and then he recorded one just for me.
Growing up, I was always a daddy's girl; no doubt about that. We did everything together, all the time. The year I turned thirteen, my dad was deployed to Afghanistan. Two weeks later, he was killed in the crossfire during a hostage recovery mission. His funeral had been agony to go to, and since then there'd always be a void in my heart.
About a month after his funeral, I legally changed my name to Cassandra. Before then my name was Molly, and it was the name my dad gave me the day I was born. I couldn't bear to live with that name anymore, and changed it only out of pure anger towards the world.
Anyways, Niall recorded the most beautiful song imaginable for me. When we got done, he put all of our recordings on my iPod. To this day, the one that he sang alone is still my favorite. I sat there on the plane and closed my eyes, letting the words work their magic.
"Daddy's little girl, paints the world with her magic wand.
Daddy's little child, breathes new life to the morning time for me.
Though we're apart, her thoughts follow me.
When I come home: Molly smiles with the dawn.
Molly smiles, and she radiates the glow around her halo.
When she plays, Molly smiles.
On a summer day, Molly smiles.
A new day, Molly smiles..."
Tess nudged me, "You okay?"
I nodded, and wiped away the few tears that had slipped out. "It's the song that Niall recorded for me; the one I listened to forever after my dad died."
She smiled at me, and then leaned over and put her head on my shoulder. "You're gonna be okay, Molly. I promise."
Tessa's POV
After watching Cassie cry herself to sleep over me calling her by her real first name, I was in no mood to sleep. I didn't even feel up to breathing at this point, but my lungs suggested otherwise.
My phone, which I hadn't messed with much during this flight, buzzed in my pocket. Choosing to absorb myself other than Niall drama, I checked it. It was a mention on twitter.
"Louis_Tomlinson: @LouisPlaysPiano, I can't wait to see you!!! :)"
The tweets after it, or replies rather, were never ending. Most of them were "I LOVE YOU!!! xxoo Followback?!" If it wasn't like that it was more of a, "who is this tramp and why are you seeing her tonight" kind of tweet. Wow, tough crowd. I decided to rile them up even more.
