The Pendant

Chapter 1

Athmika, when coming home from school, noticed an old shop which wasn't there before. She entered the shop and saw that one was in the shop.

"Welcome!" an old woman suddenly popped out from the counter. Athmika smiled.

I've never seen this shop here before.

Athmika looked around the shop for a while and found a pendant.

It was a beautiful maple leaf pendant.

She took it with her to the counter and asked, "how much is it for this pendant?" "80" the old lady replied.

She bought it and went home.

After dinner she went directly to bed because she had to wake early tomorrow.
