Chapter 8

Afternoon killing her Father, the Princess whipped her tears and walk towards his lover's lifeless body. She carefully lifted it, carrying her carefully. The Princess glaced at her subordinates, sending a message. Getting the signal from the Princess, Kim Jisoo's subordinates walks toward them, guarding the Princess.

The Cassa Empire's officials are still here and some of their knights, they might attack them while the Princess carrying her lover that's why the Princess asked her subordinates to surround them. As soon they reach the carriage Princess Jisoo climbed in.

Before closing the door of the carriage she look at the officials of Flamma Empire sharply, "You." She starts, signalling one of the knights to get the old man, "Try negotiating to the officials of Cassa Empire. Cancel this marriage, and if they keep insisting to continue it, tell them i will erase their Empire on the map." She coldly uttered and close the door.

The official who received her order has a pale face and trembling hands from how intense the stare of the Princess. He almost fainted from it. The subordinates of Princess Jisoo's stayed to watch the movements of the officials.

"Hey.. if i fought in the first place, would you still by my side then?" The Princess mumbles, caressing his lover's face, "if j didn't trust my Father in that moment, would you still be here and make every seconds a very special moment for me?" She continued, sniffing.

"Would you still be here to run away with me?" She bites her lower lips, trying to stop her self from crying, "You made me realize that life is worth to live. But now that i lost you, i don't think it's worth it anymore."

"You promised me that you will stay with me for a life time..." Princess Jisoo whispers.

I'm lying down, my head on Chaeng's lap. I'm staring at her, she's like a goddess. Without realizing it i let out a chuckled. I'm so in love with her.

"Hmm?" Chaeng hummed and look down to glance at me. "Why are you laughing?" She asked, one of her eyebrows raised.

"I just realized how lucky am i to have you." I sweetly said and smiled.

"Silly. I'm the lucky one." She argued.

"No. I'm the lucky one." I argued back, she let out a sighed then she smiled at me.

"Okay then, we're both lucky to have each other."

"Can you promise me?"

"Hmm?"

"You will stay with me for a life time, forever if possible." I asked.

"I promise. I will stay with you for a life time." She even extend her pinky finger which i immediately accepted.

Making a pinky promise.

"If not in this lifetime, perhaps i could love you in another? Maybe we can continue our in another life time? We will find each other, right?" Princess Jisoo asked, chuckling to herself because no matter what she says there's no Chaeyoung will reply to her.

The cold winds blows through her, making her body to shivers at the same time she heard a low whisper, "Right."

She doesn't know if she's hallucinating things or just desperate to hear Chaeyoung response. But at that time Jisoo sadly smile.

"I'm sorry for not choosing you in this life time," she whispers, while the cold air keeps on passing through her, "if there's a next time, i will not going to hesitate choosing you no matter the other choices is.."
