Some planets froze and some burned. All because of the dissolution of krypton.
Planet Thoron suffered the same fate as Krypton. The weather and atmosphere of the planet changed drastically, becoming inhospitable with each passing day...
That is why Odin's parents, decided that to preserve what was of the Thorians
They sent their 8-year-old son to a planet that would be safe for him.
