You stared into the box, motionless. You could hear Suna's steps in the background. He said something to you but your brain never registered what it was.
A ringing sound seemed to take over your hearing. Suna's hand met your shoulder, shaking you out of the trance you were in.
"Y/n, baby, what is it?" His voice was lined with concern; he had never seen you act like this.
You abruptly turned to face him in shock. None of this could be real you thought, none of it. But as you slowly turned back to peer into the box, the blood that stained the cardboard seemed all too real.
Your eyes traveled from the blood-stained walls of the box to what looked like a mess of matted brown hair, As you continued looking your heartbeat against your chest and the ringing was so loud It almost made you wince.
But no matter what you did, you couldn't stop the immense feeling of dread falling over you. Right in the middle of the box was the head of the most annoying brunette you had known.
However, instead of a smile adorning his face and his ever so playful eyes looking at you, all you saw was lifeless eyes and blood-coated lips.
Bile rose to your throat and when you couldn't bear it any longer you rushed out of the room and to the toilet, throwing up the contents of your breakfast.
You dry heaved as tears welled up in your eyes. A warm hand crawled up your back, rubbing up and down. The other grabbed your hair and held it up.
When you felt your sickness subside you leaned away from the toilet bowl. You watched with blurry vision as your boyfriend reached over and grabbed a tissue.
He crouched down to your level and wiped your mouth. You stayed silent through the whole ordeal with salty tears streaming down your face. A sniffle escaped you and your body shook violently as if you were in the middle of a blizzard.
