I started pacing back and forth I was scared that something bad happened to her

The father of Elizabeth the nurse called

I stood up faster than she could call my name

Your daughter is alive but still on the edge of death

Please she my daughter if I'm not there when she wakes up she'll leave me again I said

Okay but your to put gown on and sterile gloves the nurse said

She has cancer of anything get into her system when her immune system is compromised we could look at worst pain the nurse said

I gown myself with gloves and the door slid open

I entered her room she had tubes all in her

I walked closer to her and she was peaceful and her hands were handcuffs

Why is she handcuffs? I asked the nurse

She on suicide watch it to protect us from her the nurse said

You think my daughter is violent I said

It just the protocol

She insane under medical protocol right? I asked

Yes pretty much she came on with cuts on her wrist she very malnutrition from her weight the nurse said

My heart just broke into two pieces for her

I left the room and rip my mask off as tears fell down my face.

Sir if you want to sleep your daughter you can in this chair in that outfit the nurse said

Okay I said walking in

I took the blanket they had for me and I sat down and snuggle into it.

At midnight

I heard chocking sound and I open my eyes to see Elizabeth struggling to breath

Hey I need help over here I yelled

The nurse pull out the breathing tube

Dad Elizabeth said as tears trickled down my face

Yes sweetie I said

I'm sorry she barely spoke

Don't be sorry I said kissing her forehead

I took my daughter hand in my hand and squeeze it letting her know I'm not going anywhere I'm here for the long haul.

I step for literally moment she started seizing badly

Elizabeth are you okay? I asked

I looked at her wrist they cut up by the handcuffs

Can we please let her hands out do the handcuffs? I asked

No sorry safety reason the nurse said walking out

I can't do this anymore she sobbed

I couldn't just stand there watch my baby girl be hurt

I stormed out of the room

You need to get that girl out of those handcuffs now she not danger to herself she needs love I said to the nurse
