This is a story unlike no other. A story of how a well known thief became a King and God at the same time.
But I am getting ahead of myself. We should start from the beginning. We should start by introducing two powerful women.
The first woman is a powerful and stronged willed woman. Our dear maiden is Hestia. She was born into royalty but was not favored in her childhood. Her father was a kind man at first when she was a young girl, but when her mother fell ill suspiciously and died two days later, he was became more unruly.
He stayed in his room without seeing the light of outside. If someone would come into his room without knocking they would be greeted by a gauntlet of wine thrown at them. He wouldn't let anybody come near him and nothing would make him come out of his room. Until one day, a mysterious woman came to the castle suggesting to help the king be rid of this trance of sadness and grief.
As if magic, the woman got him to come out of his room smiling as if he as seen joy embodied by the woman. The kingdom was ecstatic, but the princess felt a shiver go down her spine when she caught the eyes of the woman.
Years pass and the king married the woman and had three children with her. The princess was ignored any time she tried to talk to her father. As if he was under a spell, he would ignore her and treat her as if she was a servant. Her step-mother treated her as if she was a pest. And her brothers and sister treated her as if she did not belong.
She soon had enough and at the age of twelve she fled from her home. She ran into the forest and never looked back. There she found a huge tree that looked more alive than the others. The rest of the trees looked withered and dying but still stood tall in attention like an injured soldier. But the bigger tree stood in the center as if it was the warrior among the trees. It stood strong, the bark was darker in shade, the trunk was thicker, and the leaves was brightly colored as if it glowed under the moonlight.
Hestia finally realized that the tree was glowing. From a blinding glowing green to a light blue the tree glowed by its leaves to the spiraling marks on the the tree trunks. The tree glowed brighter that Hestia could barely see the tree anymore. When the tree lights dimmed down, a figure sat under the tree in a all white cloth that dressed their body.
Hestia walked closer to the figure and saw it was a girl about her age. Her skin was pale with freckles sprinkled on her. Her hair was jet black, darker than a starless night sky. Her body stirred as she woke up and stared at Hestia.
Hestia gasped she saw the unknown girl's eyes. Her eyes was multiple of colors as if they couldn't choose just one. They were black, purple, blue, and sprinkles of gold. Hestia thought they were beautiful though.
"What i-is your name? Mine is Hestia Firestone." Hestia told the girl reaching her hand out to the tree girl.
The girl looked at Hestia's hand and reached out and touched her palm and then held it in her smaller hand.
"Galactica. My name is Galactica."
