'They couldn't have awoken this early. They're powerful but...not powerful enough to awaken without-'
Galactica has these and many more thoughts as she takes the ancient books to her study for she was both puzzled, but also baffled that the entity could awaken.
She carried all the scrolls that filled her grip, pushing them closer to her chest as to not dropping one of them, as she walks quickly to her study room far into the castle. She passed servants that walked past her and didn't dare to get in her way.
They have seen her this determined and focused before and they know not to get in her way or disturb her during this time unless they said Queen Hestia commanded her to come out of there.
The last poor maid that went in disturbing the queen, trying to serve her regular tea, she was immediately yelled and belittled until she left with the tea.
Galactica of course apologized to her after her research, butet her and the rest of the staff that when she is in her study, focused on any type of research, is to not disturb her even when she tells them to fetch something for her. The rule is to leave whatever she need outside the after knocking three times.
After that faithful day, if anyone sees the queen with a handful of books or weird scrolls, they immediately do not engage. They step to the side and let her pass like a train without brakes.
With a haste, Galactica throws down the scrolls on to her messy and cluttered desk. The scrolls and books about the human body, transmorphium, and potion making, was pushed off the desk. She started to unscroll the ancient papers and staring reading them, circling the desk to sit on her desk. She read through the first scroll that told the story of the first gods told by her father Azu, the all father.

Meanwhile, Hestia waked up dazed and confused. As she sat up, she was immediately hit with soreness all throughout her body. Her body ached as she collapsed back into her soft bed. She laid there, frozen still on top of her fur blanket. She tried to think of how and why she was on her bed naked when the soreness hit her between her legs.
Now she remembers. Her supposed "soulmate" that Galactica has been waiting for and had her be completely smitten over turned into a complete different person than the one she was told to "bully until awaken". She just wanted to have some fun with the girl. She knew that she wouldn't be able to have fun with this version of her if Galactica's plan came into fruition. But she didn't realize she would push the ancient god that was stuck in her would come out to have a taste.
Now she's stuck in bed until the ach calms down enough for her to get up and put on clothes. Waiting, Hestia thought back to when she was young and first met Galactica.
For once after her step mother came into the picture, she was truly happy. All she that she had to care about was taking care of Gala. She learned to hunt to be able to feed herself and Gala, for that she started to gain muscle and fighting skills attacking large creatures and predators.
Gala learned to sewn to make them clothes when Hestia's clothes turned into rags. They both did everything together. They learned to cook, swim and even train together. At the age of fourteen, Galactica told her a very important secret about her. That she was a goddess of space. She told Tia that she could help her get rid of her evil step-mother and take back her rightful place as ruler and have her father back.
With that promise, Hestia promised she would listen to whatever she needs to do to have her family back.
Hestia couldn't have believed anyone if they told her that she would marry a literal goddess after defeating her stepmom, freeing her father and her kingdom from her grip, and helping her brother fix his reputation. She just wished her other step-siblings could see that their mother was evil and wasn't doing anything for the benefit of the kingdom.
But she stopped thinking about them and thought more about Percy.
When she first laid eyes on her earlier that month, she thought she got another thief that was trying to steal the crown to sell. She might have been right from what Marcus had told her about how she was a thief and scoundrel that hopped from bed to bed of every women she met. The moment she met her, she didn't believe her brother. Neither did she believe her wife who told her that she was the key to secure their future of the kingdom and was also the last puzzle piece to for forever happiness.
That night they had expect the young woman to come, but one of them was more excited than the other.
Hestia still remembered how Galactica sprang from bed saying, "I feel her presence."
Tia didn't realize what she meant until she looked at the face of her beloved wife. The flash of happiness shone on the goddess's face making the mortal queen cringe at a pang of hurt hit her chest. And after that, they went with the plan. Galactica would try to coax the god out through lust while Hestia was supposed to coax it out through anger.
Gala tried to reassure Tia that she wouldn't go through with the teasing and actually sleep with her. It was all harmless. Tia thought back when she started her lie of how she fell for the young woman. It was suppose to be a joke that turned on her and now she has to keep up the act that she fell for the young girl that she must train so she too can wield the power of the gods.
Tia laid down some more before thinking she had enough with going through all the choices she made all up to now. She needed to stop all of this regret and overthinking for she is the queen of a kingdom. Not only that she is the warrior queen of her kingdom. What kind of citizen would be safe if they knew that their queen overthink every decision she makes.
With a sigh, she sat back up and reach towards the string next to the bed post. She pulled on it twice. She laid her head back on her pillow that laid on wall as she waited for her personal maid to come to her chambers.
She closed her eyes as she made another large sigh.
"A queen, a goddess, and a god stuck in the body of a thief. Sounds like a porn scroll."
