Ansh "Dude, how long do girls take! Literally, just look, all men are here and I can only see a few countable female who have arrived."
Navin "Hmm."
Ansh looked at his friend with a confused expression, which changed to an understanding one as he assumed what was going on. Navin was sitting beside Ansh completely zoned out.
Ansh "Oh look, Zara's here"(emphasis on 'Zara')
Navin sprang back into conscience at the name and frantically looked around.
Ansh "Dummy, she isn't. Her friend seems like the type who spends hours just deciding on a single hairstyle, so I don't think they'll be here until the last minute. Even she must be irritated by that Mayura's attitude by now."
Navin "So you pulled the oldest trick in the book on me!?"
Ansh "And it worked!"
Navin 😳
Ansh "Anyway, you do remember the prank right?"
Navin "Sure. By the way, I look...decent, right?"
Ansh "Yeah yeah, don't worry. Besides, you took way longer than usual it's doing your hair and choosing a watch to impress your Zara."

By now, all students have arrived at this debatably 'fun' party. The crowd stood patiently for the principle's announcement to begin.
Principle "Welcome all students at our collage to this long awaited event. Our party today shall serve to both entertain and strengthen peer bonds, focusing on our new 'study partner system".
The principle followed onto some boring details about the venue, and then asked each student to join up with their partner. Everyone was also given a personal timetable matching their partner's, and were expected to follow it for the remainder of the event.

The teams power walked around the crowd while everyone was pushing one another to get through, and somehow finally managed to fine the other.
The moment both Ansh and Navin saw Zara and Mayura, both of the boys were mesmerized by the girl's beauty. It was an unusual feeling for Ansh and he noticed that too but snapped himself back to reality and continued.
Ansh "Alright then, clumsy, what do we have first in this hell of a party. Can't believe they said it's fun, well... maybe for you two..."(looks at Navin and Zara)"
Navin "Ahehe, I mean... it shouldn't be as grim for us as it is for enemies, eh, Z...Zara?" 😊
Zara "A...aha! True. We'll have a great time." ☺️
Mayura "Excuse me! First, I'm not clumsy, stupid! You are the one who can't think of a better roast."
Ansh "As if you can!"
Mayura "That's not the point here!"
Aaand the bickering continued until their buddies put an end to it. Unfortunately for the main two, they soon had to proceed to the pair activities. Even worse, the two groups only had one activity at mutual times at the same place, which was the first one; disco dance. . . .
