1st POV-

Without warning, a giant black mass hit me square in the chest. Knocking the wind out of me, I fall onto my back and wince. Feeling something lick my face, my eyes fly open to see the face of a pitch-black wolf. Is...Is this a hellhound? The wolf continues to lick away, unbothered about the other demon watching. Giving in to the cute, but deadly creature, I scratch behind their ear and watch as it falls onto their side to reveal their belly.

I let out an 'Aww', and hear a chuckle coming from the other man. Feeling my face flush, I turn to him and see his eyes glued to me. "What?" I ask, turning my attention back to the wolf, rubbing their belly. The long black tail wagging as you scratched at the scruff.

"She seems to like you." The albino says adding on, "I've never seen her bare her stomach before."

Feeling more validated, a smug smile settles on my face. Even as a dead man in Hell, dogs don't care. They're amazing. I will protect this hound with my life. As I think that, the wolf abruptly sits up and stares deep into my eyes. They were the color of fire or amber and then she howled. I laughed and got ready to praise her for being a good girl when Azazel let out a sigh.

"Well, that settles that then. She's chosen you as her owner." He says from behind me.

I nod, barely hearing him until I finally recognize the words he said. "Wait, huh?" I asked, whipping around to see the Prince. He has a relaxed smile as he scratches the back of his neck.

"Hellhounds are very specific on who they bond with. They have a very good sense of character." He moves to bend down and softly pet her head, earning a small snort from the wolf. He then adds, "When they howl for the first time, it means they've found the one."

I make an "oh" sound before Azazel grabs my hand and presses it against the animal's chest. A small gold light shines before fading and the wolf falls back to show off her tummy again. "There. Now, she belongs to you. She'll protect you from any demons who get a bit too... rowdy." The albino says. I suddenly feel giddy, as I now had a new friend and protector.  I rub her belly and gush over her, pulling out all the pet names I know. After calling her a few nicknames, I realize that I didn't know her name.

"Ah, what's her name?" I ask.

"She doesn't have one. That's for you to decide." I hear him say. As he says that, my dog lets out a small yawn which I start to gush over.

I then realize who was witness to this and feel my face heat up slightly as I turn to the other man. His face is a tint redder and he had a shit-eating grin plain to see. He clears his throat and stands up. I follow suit and sheepishly rub my arm. "I'll be off now. A demon prince never has a break." He says, a touch of a joke in his tone. As he turns to leave, I rush forward and hug him.

He stops mid-step and turns to face me. I look up at him and give a shy smile, "Thank you. For this and earlier." As I'm about to pull away, I feel one of his hands cradle the back of my head against his chest and the other laying comfortably on my hip.  His chest rumbles as he lets out another laugh, this time genuine and full of life. My stomach flutters as I feel his warmth.

Much to my dismay, I realize it's time to let go and finally pull away. Azazel reaches down and ruffles my hair, before turning and stalking down a hallway. My heart pounds in my chest softly, as I try to calm my face. 'Okay...So maybe I MIGHT have fun here.' I think as my attention switches back to the hellhound.  She's walking around and sniffing at random paintings and objects scattered around the foyer.

I smile and watch as she runs back over. "What should I name you..." I think aloud to myself. She cocks her head to show she doesn't know either. Thinking through my studies and what I learned, I try to pick a name that would fit and have meaning. "What about," I pause and snap my fingers, "Juno! You look like a Queen."

Juno barks twice in agreement and I smile. As I'm about to talk to her again, I hear footsteps and a voice coming from the other staircase. "What is with all that noise? Why can't you morons ever-," The prince cuts off once he notices me. His shoulder-length purple hair and deep red eyes pierced my body and I instinctively step closer to Juno. "Ah," He says with a newfound smile, "It was the pure heart."

Walking down the giant staircase, their height finally dawned upon me. Why were they so tall? For what reason? Intimidation? As I'm deep in thought, I don't notice the man get close enough to stop in front of me. "Seems like the bride got a puppy. How.. Cute." He says, blatantly looking me up and down. I turn to the hellhound meant to protect me, who is looking around and not paying attention. Which either means he won't hurt me or she is horrible at her job. Maybe both.

Sizing me up, I see his eyes soften and he steps closer, leaning down. Our faces almost touching he asks, "What is your name Little One?" My whole mouth goes dry as I try to remember the most basic things about me. "Holy shit. What the fuck is my name?"

"(M/n).." I pause and quickly remember my last name after," (M/n) (L/n)." My voice is shaky. Looking into his eyes, I feel my knees wobble. Looking to the side, I feel whatever hold he has on me grow stronger. Biting my bottom lip, he takes my hand and kisses it.

"Samael, third oldest and sin of Lust." His voice purrs out as his ungodly red eyes pierce my much smaller frame. Finally, everything started to make sense. Why I was so...worked up and why I couldn't think straight. Pulling my hand away, I stagger a breath and watch as he smiles again, but more sinister.

"If you could not use your weird demon powers on me, that would be great, thanks," I mutter angrily, taking a step back. Looking at my face, he rolls his eyes and stands back up straight.

"How peculiar. One of the first humans here to reject my advances. And here to think I thought it'd be easy." Samael says, mostly more to himself than me. My eyes glower at him and my anger shows plainly on my face. To think some little trick could make me feel such intense emotions was gnawing at me. 'What was he using? Just a power? Well, he is the sin of lust. And a demon.

Grabbing my chin and pulling my face up to look at him, my cheeks grow hotter against my will. "W..what do you want?" I spat out, trying to sound angry, but making me sound more worried than anything. He eyes my lips before licking his.

"Listen to your body. And become mine, like your mind is begging for." Samael whispers, leaning down once more to close the distance. Watching helplessly as he creeps closer, I use my last spurt of strength to break free once he's distracted enough. I stumble back and glare, finally able to catch my breath. I wasn't going to give up without a fight. His eyes widen slightly before his face turns stoic. "I.." He clears his throat, "I see."

The following few moments of silence were awkward, to say the least.  My heartbeat against my chest as he continued to stare m down. A smirk slowly creeps back onto his face as another purr escapes, "I'm going to have fun playing with you." His crimson eyes seem to be glowing and a small noise escapes my throat, causing him to chuckle. A thought seems to cross his mind and his smirk falters for half a second. Stretching enough to show off his v-line, the purple-haired demon turns to wink before snapping his fingers.

The sound echos and before I can blink, he's gone. Looking around for a trace of him, all I find is Juno. The hound looks at me and tilts her head again. I deadpan and stare at her back. "You know I could have gotten killed by him, right?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. She does a dog panting smile before she lays down and rolls onto her back, showing her furry light pink stomach. I try to stay mad, but her goofy grin breaks my facade and I bend down to pet her. "You big goof. You're lucky you're cute."
