Alfred and his elder siblings was so dreadful when his father was drunkard. When they father get drunkard their parents always had a quarrel and fight with having a sword on their hands. They were always hiding to their father when these kind of instances happen and their whole body were shaking to fear. Because of these kind of family problems and many issues that always struggle within himself. He decided to stop studying and going to school. The main reason is his problems regarding to his father and always no money when going to school. Because they had no money or budget they always walk from their home to school. They will wake up in the morning as early as 5:00 a.m. because they will pass three mountains and rivers just to go to school. Alfred stopped when he was grade III he even didn't finished grade III and he decided to work and to help his elder brothers and sisters in the farm.
While they where in the field their father was just looking at them and doing nothing even though his mother is one of them doing something in the field. His father just stares at them and do nothing. In short his father was lazy and drunkard after that his gonna pick something and throw it to his wife and to his children. Alfred always keep within himself what he feels because of his fathers hostile attitude to them. He pent-up for many years his grief, sorrows and despair. Alfred kept to himself that he hatted so much his father and that someday he will walked away and lived in the city.
