Unexpected visitors

The day was passing by normal, and Jean was doing some paperwork when chaos broke out. Jean quickly ran out to find out what was going on. People were screaming and running in panic. She ran over to Amber that was trying to make everyone calm down.

" Outrider! What's going on? " Jean took her sword and prepared for combat.

" The fatui! They're attacking! "

Jean looked towards the city gates, and realised that Amber was right. Fatui Skirmishers and Cicin mages were invading the city.

They quickly run towards the enemy to protect the people in the city that were unable to protect themself. The battle goes on, enemies fall but the knights have gotten some injuries too. 

Jean has trouble defeating one of the geo skirmishers, as they keep regenerating their shield. With an anemo vision, a geo shield isn't an easy task. When Jean finally deals the fatal blow, a woman screams from the other side.

" Help! They're taking me! " Lisa's voice filled Jean with worry, and she ran over to her, but it was too late. The fatui were leaving. With Lisa.

" Sir Kaeya, we have to rescue her! " Amber protested.

" Outrider, it's too dangerous. Please, let us take care of this. "

They were preparing to rescue Lisa, but they had nowhere to look and had no idea what they wanted from them. Jean just sat there, thinking about the day before, and how she could have rescued Lisa, if she just tried a little harder..

" -ean ?? JEAN?? " Amber's voice made her come back to reality. Amber's expression told her that she probably zoned out for a bit too long.

" Ah, uhm.. What was it? "

Amber seemed quite annoyed at this point.

" Did you really not hear anything? Well, we might know where Lisa is. " Amber pointed at a location marked with "X" on map over  Mondstadt. 

" Cape Oath? Why would the fatui be there? " It seemed unlikely for the fatui to be such a place, Jean wondered how they got to that conclusion.

" Yes, thats what we thought too. But when we looked into it, we found a Domain called 'Eagle's Gate' and we believe that they're using Lisa as a bait to trick us into going there. Thats why they * accedentally * left a map before leaving, showing the location. "

Using Lisa as a bait? Only that made Jean's blood boil.

" So what are we waiting for? Why aren't we on our way? "

" I mean, since they want to trick us there, we don't know what to expect. It's definetly a trap, thats for sure " Kaeya shot in confidently.

" We can handle a few Skirmishers, let's just go. " Jean didn't want to wait anymore, and Amber agreed.

" I think we should call traveler with us, they are strong and will definetly help! " After saying that, Amber was already on her way out the door.

Jean started stuffing food, an extra jacket, and some other things that might come in handy in a backpack.

After finishing preperations she went to meet Amber and traveler, and start the rescue mission.
