There was a note left on your counter. It read, "I know it's been a while since you have heard from me, but there are a few things I have to say. I'm sorry I left you. I'm sorry I pulled myself away. I'll eventually come back. I'll make it up to you somehow. There are a few things I have lacked, but I have regained them and will come back now."
The note was still on your counter, but it was everywhere in your mind. You left that door as locked as your heart. Someone had to break in to leave that note, but will they be able to re-break into your heart as easily as they broke into your house? And even if you let them reenter into your heart, would you let them enter deep enough to shatter your heart once more?
