While I was waiting for Khalida to come back from talking to her brother, I sat at my desk at looked at the notes that I wrote down. They all contain the vision Khalida explained that she had, and the story Claude told about her being possessed. And what she said before she passed out, "the enchantment." How do all these things relate to each other?

She's the descendant of the cursed treasure, so what was up with the possessed thing? I never heard of a descendant that could do that. There's got to be more to it.

Frustrated, I stood up and walked up deck blinking against the sun.

Skull Drowner came up to me with something in his hands.

"Morning Captain."

"Morning best mate. Any news?"

"Well, one of our mates found this."

He handed me what looked like a letter in a bottle.

"Come, we must decipher this."

He followed me back to my quarters.

I lit a candle and moved everything off my desk and sat down.

I smashed the bottle against the side of the desk and sent glass flying everywhere, but releasing the letter inside.

I picked up the letter from off the floor and unrolled it.

"The bloody hell is this?"

"What is it, captain?"

"It's just a bunch of bloody scribbles."

Skull Drowner came over to look over my shoulder.

"Well captain it looks like symbols, there has to be someone who can read and understand them."

"The descendant."

"But captain, we haven't found them yet."

Right, he doesn't know, no one does except for me, Khalida, and Claude. And it's going to stay that way for a while.

"We'll just be going to have to keep looking then."

"Yes captain, where are we headed?"

"Just go up the deck for now and let me look through my notes, I'll tell you later."

"Yes sir."

He left out the door and as soon as I couldn't hear footsteps I went looking for Khalida.

She said she went looking for her brother so they must be in the living quarters.

Going there in no rush at all I just started thinking about everything these past few days.

I kidnapped some crazy lady, she attempted to kill me. My brother starts to believe that we're dating. I find out that she's the descendant and she sees a vision that could quite possibly help in the future. She finds her brother who tells us that she has powers. I tell her about my daughter. And on top of all that, she's the love of my life.

I don't know how I fell for her this quickly but I did, and happy because of her.

Then I hear footsteps running towards me, I turn around and there I see is Skull Drowner.

"What is it Skull Drowner?"

"I forgot to mention sir that tonight is rum night."

"Well I'm going to have to miss it, I'm kinda busy."
