The Birth Of The Amarathine Witch

Abigail Astoria at the time, also known as Abby, was born on September 9th, 1996 in Novi Grad, Sokovia to Mason and Jessica Astoria. She had no siblings. Her father, Mason, was a mutant with the ability to regenerate faster than any living being, making him almost invincible. Her mother, Jessica was born a human. Mason was a construction worker and Jessica worked at a local stock market. She never knew any other family besides her aunt, Cassandra. In 2001, Abby was only 5, her father was reported missing after he never made it to work and didn't come home for 3 days, a week after his dissapearance, he was reported dead after being kidnapped by Hydra and experimented on for days.

Her mother knew about the threat of Hydra in Sokovia and even had relations with some of the leader of the experiments. Aaron Strucker warned Jessica that if one day, her daughter, Abby, developed mutant abilities, they would come for her too. Abby never manifested any mutant abilities. After her father's death, her mother started taking pills and drinking constantly, she got fired from her job after not showing up to work for a week. Shortly after Abby's 6th birthday her mother overdosed on pills and slit her wrists, killing herself. Abby found her bleeding out, foaming at the mouth on the kitchen floor after she had gotten back from the store.

Her aunt took her in shortly after her mother's death. Her aunt lived in Eastern Sokovia. Abby developed her mind reading ability when she was twelve, she told herself she was crazy and never told anyone about her manifestation. Cassandra was a good mother figure to Abby until 2015 when she was murdered by a terriost group against muntants, known as "Purifiers". They knew and recognized her as the sister of Jessica. Abby moved out, in search of Hydra, hoping that they would experiment on her and kill her just like they did her father. Instead, she was trained and put into contact with two of the six infinity stones. The Reality Stone and the Space Stone, therefore making her powers amarathine (a shade of purple). She escaped Hydra after her powers had developed, making her dangerous and out of control.

She fled to New York, about a year before the events of Age Of Ultron, which did not leave Sokovia destroyed, (not in this story).  Abby bounced around New York a bit before she met Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff, she didn't know either of them at the time. She helped them shortly on a mission and then they parted ways. She was found and recruited by Ebony Black, also known as "The Void", she was in a serious accident, giving her her powers. They worked together, doing dangerous missions, stealing, killing. She was introduced to The Sorceress Supreme after a few weeks of them working together and that is when she gave her the task of eliminating Wanda. It wasn't until two months later that she met Wanda Maximoff, also known as "The Scarlett Witch", she knew all about her from Ebony and her studies, she knew what she could do and she knew about her heritage, the death of her parents and her brother, (Pietro was killed by Ultron).

Nova knew the truth about The Book Of Fate, that as long as the two lived, the universe would never be safe and one of them would ultimately die. Abby tried to gain information and trust from Wanda before killing her but as we've already seen, it didn't play out. Believing that Wanda Maximoff had been killed by Abby, Nova and Ebony ran off together, in search of a powerful spell that could rid Abby of her powers. It wasn't until about two and a half months after Wanda "died" that she found out that she was well alive but she decided not to do anything about the threat, hiring the agents of Fate in her place. That was when she found out the truth about her real father, Charles Xavier, making her muntant and witch, later to become an omega mutant with higher powers than even the Sorceress Supreme (Nova), The Dark Pheonix (Jean Grey), The Scarlett Witch (Wanda Maximoff), Professor X (Charles Xavier) and Magneto (Erik Lensherr).
