Beau Ledoux and Lacey Whiteman never knew each other before this school year. Beau was announced president and Lacey was announced vice pres. Beau was a genuine country boy standing 6"1 dark brown hair and bright blue eyes small scruffy beard and a deep gravely voice that would make girls melt. Now Lacey was the short small framed brunette hair that flowed to the middle of her back with sparkling green eyes with flakes of gold sprinkled in them. Their first true meeting was a summer workshop where all of the officers were required to work together on their leadership skills most of which came easy for Beau but not so much for Lacey they were grouped together by the state officer. Which was a mandatory thing because they needed to learn how to make decisions with each other and it be beneficial to the chapter. They clashed heads more often than not because Lacey was a hotheaded girl and Beau was as stubborn as a old mule. Problems arose quicker than expected because two wrongs defiantly don't make a right. As,if almost expected they fought tooth and nail on everything making it hard for things to be completed within the chapter. Amy the advisor noticed this,and addressed it delivering a strong ultimatum that either work together as a unit or be demoted to normal membership. This worked and they began talking out their differences in opinions which benefited everyone around. Weeks passed and forbidden feelings arose in the mind of the young officers but they knew what would happen if two officers dated or had any sort of intimate relationship. They became closer and closer but Beau tried to hide his feelings for her as best he could. But this was of no use what so ever. Beau and Lacey work tirelessly throughout the year grooming their team for competition season coming in February. Beau's main focus is steer and he has raised one of this years best looking steer out of the five other schools. To Beau's disadvantage he has never had quite thus much responsibility with being president of his chapter balancing school his work life and home life it has been a rough couple of months not to mention the pressure of keeping his feelings for Lacey a secret. Friday afternoon after school Beau and his best friend Kyle Jackson were out In the livestock barn. Kyle kept bragging about this new girl he was trying to get with beau was half listening because kyle has a new girl every week and Beau's tired of listening to him running around and hopping from girl to girl. Kyle and beau start unknowingly start talking the same girl only kyle doesn't know that Lacey is an officer with Beau.
