Chap 2

KEI's POV
Right now I'm reviewing the progress of the boutique, but I can't focus due to two things.

One is the thing Kiyotaka just did.

Two, it's the stares of the staffs on me.
Not only that, some of them are also whispering with each other while sneaking glances at me.

Normally, I would have reprimanded them to stay focused during work.
So why am I sliding them off for behaving like this?

It's because I'm completely RED right now!
I'll just look like a fool if I stutter when I'm reprimanding them. Also, I am their boss. My image as a stern person during work will shatter if this keeps up.

'Ahhhhhh!!!!!!' I internally screamed.

This is all Kiyotaka's fault..... Saying such things out of nowhere is not good for my heart!

Additionally, he also said it in front of other people!!!

As I was thinking of that mischievous brown haired man, I suddenly remembered what I had noticed.

Is there something bothering Kiyotaka?
Is he feeling unwell?
He spaced out for a moment when I exchanged words with Kuzuni-san.

While I was pondering, I saw a figure entering the boutique. It was Megumi-chan.

When Megumi-chan's eyes met mine, I can tell that she is very curious of my relationship with Kiyotaka.
Her eyes are literally sparkling.

I've known her for so long, obviously she wants to gossip about this!!

Well, can't blame her for that.
Since I have been keeping quiet about my past, she has no content to tease me.
Now that she has one.... I'm afraid my peaceful days have been stolen away....

'Huuuuuuuuuu' calm down, take a deep breath and exhale~
I will think about this more at home later.

KIYOTAKA'S POV

1:45p.m.
It's almost time for me to meet up with Kei.

"Hmmmm?" did my heart rate increased? Is this what others call excitement? It probably is.

When I glanced out of the store, I saw Kei and Nagiri-san standing outside their boutique.

"Are they done with their work already?"
I checked the paperworks one more time before finishing up.

"It seems that our work here for today is done. Good job everyone." I said to the staffs.

"Good work to you to, chairman!" the staffs replied to me energetically.

"Well then, I'll be taking off now. Make sure to properly clean and lock the store."

They all nodded and uniformly bowed to me..... Why are they acting like soldiers in the army? It's somehow uncomfortable.

I decided to just let it be and looked at my wrist watch to check the time.
It's 1:53p.m. now, thankfully I'm not late. Since I have other meetings after spending time with Kei, I told Kuzuni-san to tag along so that it will be more efficient.

As I headed towards AZUIRE boutique, I saw Kei was talking to Nagiri-san with a serious face.

Wow, is that the aura she emits while working?
Won't I be interrupting their talk if I just waltz in? But just before I could think of the solution, Kei saw me.
I noticed that her ears are pink... She was probably still affected by that.

"Oh, you're done? So... Where are we going?" she asked me. Her facial expressions made subtle changes when she talked to me. Now it's more gentle, different from the serious face she had just now.
