Tomura sighs softly; it was almost time, at least that's what Kai keeps saying. Judging from Dabi's newfound clinginess, it was nearly time to birth the eggs. Dabi would pace on all fours around the nest as if Tomura wasn't safe. He'd also snarl at Kai when he came too close, Kai understood, though, and it puzzled Tomura. Why was Dabi acting like this? The past six months, Dabi had been gone for a long while, was because he was hunting. Whether it be for Tomura or the eggs, Tomura didn't know. Tomura spent most of his time in the nest, minus the times he had to get out to eat and stretch. Kai would ease Dabi now and then by speaking to him about what Tomura wanted to know. So one night, he asked Dabi. What he heard was heartbreaking.
