Just had this idea idk where ill take it but I hope you guys enjoy. Sorry it's a bit short.

-------------------------------------

"Hey, sweetie, looking pretty lonely over here by yourself," a gruff, male voice approached Danielle, who was slumped back on a couch tucked away to the side of the venue. Her sisters had dragged her to this new club that had opened while they were away on tour. It was nice, she supposes, but only for the short period of time in between being buzzed and being completely wasted does she really enjoy "clubbing". She blearily turned toward the noise.

"What?" She slurred, confused as the man took a seat next to her.

"Wow you're even hotter up close. How come you're all alone? Your bf dump you? Hm? Cause I can make you forget all about that." He grinned haughtily, putting his large hand on her knee. She swallowed uncomfortably.

"I...no..could you just leave me alone?" She looked around hoping Este was near.

"Oh, c'mon, babe. Why don't we get out of here?" He leaned in close to her, giving her leg a firm squeeze.

"Can-Can you just leave me alone? Please?" She squeaked.

"Look-"

"-Hey, there you are, honey. Woah who's he?" Danielle grew even more confused in her haze as she stared up at a blonde girl, clad in a short back dress.

"Who are you?" The man countered.

"I'm her girlfriend," The dark haired girl blinked. Girlfriend? "So if you would be so kind as to get the fuck out of here, we won't have any trouble." He stood up aggressively.

"God damn lesbos.." He muttered angrily, stomping away.

The girl sat next to Danielle, though she left some room. "You okay?"

"I-I think you have me mistaken...I don't have a girlfriend.."

"I know." The guitarist just stared at her with a tilted head. "I just saw that creep was clearly not planning on leaving you alone. It's pathetic how guys like him won't take no for an answer." It took Danielle a while for her murky mind to register what she meant.

"Oh...that's so nice." She smiled, "Thanks. He was really creepy."

"No problem. It's Liz, by the way."

She didn't reply right away, her head foggy, "Oh-Danielle."

"You sure you're okay? Are you here with someone?"

"My sisters. They're probably somewhere in the crowd. They like this kinda stuff." She sighed.

"You don't?" There was a shake of her head. "Do you want to find them? I'll help."

"I just want to go home." The musician mumbled, her bottom lip trembled.

"Oh-hon, please don't cry. It's alright." She put a supportive hand on her shoulder. "Want me to walk you home? Will your sisters mind?"

She wiped her nose on her sleeve, sniffling. "You really don't have to.."

"No. I don't mind. C'mon." She stood, holding out a hand. Danielle stood, shutting her eyes as the room spun. Liz put a hand on her elbow for support. "Too much to drink?" She chuckled.

"Mhm."

They neared the exit of the club. "Do you need to find your sisters first?" She shouted over the crowd.

"I'll let 'em know when we get home."

They stepped out into the night. "Which way?"

"Left."

They walked in a content silence. It was chilly night, for LA at least. Danielle felt goosebumps rise on her skin as the wind picked up. She was surprised when a jacket was draped over her shoulders. She turned and smiled at Liz. How thoughtful. Now, looking at her in the soft glow of the city lights, she realized just how gorgeous she was. Her long, pin straight blonde hair was parted down the middle and her eyes outlined heavily with eyeliner. She had a more 'womanly' figure, complete with broad shoulders and thick legs. It was all very reminiscent of a 70s Lita Ford, back when she was in The Runaways. Danielle felt a strange, tingling sensation in her chest. Maybe it was just all alcohol.

"Do you live in the city?" She spoke up, genuinely curious.

"No." Her heart sunk, for some reason. "I live right out in the valley, though."

Danielle perked back up,"No way, me too. Well-okay not anymore, but I grew up there, and my family still lives there."

"Sweet. I went to school out here and loved it, you know. I'm from back east."

"Cool-" She stumbled a bit, but a hand gently gripped her arm, keeping her upright. "Sorry..." The taller girl mumbled in embarrassment.

-

"Shoot." Danielle muttered as they exited the elevator.

"What?" Liz's concerned voice questioned.

"I need to text my sisters. I hope they're not worried." She pulled out her phone but the bright screen was giving her a headache.

"Would you mind doing it for me..I'm sorry but my head is reeling."

"No problem." She took the phone as they reached her apartment door, Danielle fumbling with the keys. She finished and handed it back. "Well, I should-"

"Stay! Oh god I'm sorry- I just-you can come in...if you'd like.." She cursed herself inwardly, but didn't feel quite as bad when she noticed the blonde smiling.

"Believe me, I'd love to. But I should probably head back. I've got work in the morning."

"Oh...okay." She looked down, suddenly feeling very disappointed. "But thanks for being so nice."

"Anytime. Maybe I'll see you around?" Danielle picked her head up.

"Maybe." She breathed.

Liz place a hand on her shoulder, leaning up and kissing her cheek. "Well, I guess this is goodbye. It was great meeting you."

The guitarist nodded, too in shock to say anything. The door shut, but she still stood there, her hand coming up to touch where a pair of lips had been just moments ago.
