EDITED.

"I'll meet you at 4. At the bus-stop." He says. I smile sweetly at him and he walks away.  I decide to leave as well, going to my next class.

I walk into the house, some half-empty boxes decorated the hallway. I grabbed one box filled with my clothes and carry it up to my room, ignoring my useless brother eating chips and being as loud as ever. While in my room, I take off my dress and out on a light-blue striped button-up and paired it with my short overalls.

It fits Lilian's colorful personality :)

I look in the mirror, tracing the butterflies and flowers embroidered on the overall. I slightly smile and go downstairs. I walk into the kitchen and place some cookies into a plastic bag, along side a bottle of water and place them in my bag. I grab my camera and walk out of the house.

The walk to the bus stop was peaceful, aside from the two boys loudly shouting at each other while playing catch.

Nearing the bus-stop I see, Bryce with some blonde girl?

I walk up to them and the girl immediately holds Bryce's hand and being all touchy. What?

I purse my lips and smile at the two, and Bryce's clears his voice.

"We're still waiting for Garret to come."

He smiles at me, I return a confused smile and the girl glares at me but easily covers it up with a warm smile when I notice her snobby glare.

"Hi, I'm Sherry, Bryce's girlfriend." She emphasizes the 'girlfriend' part and looks up and down, judging me with no shame.

"Hi, I'm Lilian." I say and put my hand in my pocket.

"And I'm, Garret." A voice behind me says, we all turn around and greet each other.

"Uh, Lilian. You're riding with Garret. Since of course girlfriends always ride together with their boyfriends." She says boldly.

I snort out a laugh at how she worded that sentence. Don't Lilian, they'll think your a weirdo.

Everyone looks at me with a confused smile. "Sorry." I apologize and get on Garret's bike. (MY DIRTY MIND STOPPP)

The bike leans a bit which freaks me out and I hold tighter to Garret's waist. "Woah, it's alright." He calms me down and we start heading to the small town.

Instead of Bryce giving me the tour, Garret took his place, he made it more interesting and we instantly clicked. As for Bryce, he was biking around with his girlfriend being all lovey-dovey.

Was I jealous? Why lie? Of course I am.

But Garret was so easygoing and fun to talk to, plus his humor was actually gold it made me forget I was even mad that it wasn't Bryce and I getting to know each other, but rather me getting to know Garret.

Bryce and Garret decided to show Sherry and I their secret hideout, which surprisingly wasn't their room but it was actually further from the town. They didn't lie about it being hidden.

The whole bike ride was filled with laughter and the afternoon breeze. The atmosphere feels so welcoming and the moment would surely be memorable, It scared but soothed us because the tension was long gone and filled instantly with sarcastic comments, annoying banters and unfunny-yet-funny jokes.

Soon we arrived at the infamous secret hideout. I take out my camera and sneak some photos while Bryce leads us to the hideout. I look around in fascination, the beauty of nature easily captivates me, maybe too captivated to even notice Garret staring at me, in awe I might add. (not me falling for garret...)

I felt a hand on my wrist which brings me out of my trance, I look towards the direction of Garret. "C'mon Lilian, Bryce and Sherry are almost there." He ushers me to catch up and I start to run but his hands slip away from my wrist I instead grab his hands, we both laugh and avoid the huge rocks that decorated the tranquil forest. We both arrive out of breath, but it defeats the purpose of the breathtaking view. I grab Garret's hand and run to the scenic place. It was a hill and on top was a worn-out bench and a tree beside it, with vines and flowers growing around the special spot, alongside the amazing view. I carefully climbed on top of the hill, and quickly taking a seat on the bench. I take a picture of the sight and deeply breath in the warm atmosphere.

The cookies are eaten, the water was now gone and my bag was less heavy then before, obviously. The rest of the evening, we spent making flower crowns, eating cookies, playing eye spy and now decent-but-still-unfunny jokes. Though memories like these don't last forever, it all came into a halt and we we're almost home, they all dropped me off first.

I walk to the porch of my new home and hear a bike drop, "Wait! Lilian!" I turn around and see Garret with a pink tulip in his hand. That specific tulip I wasn't able to reach because it was too far, and refused to ask for help but of course Garret saw. My eyes widen and a smile occupies my face, I earn the same from Garret and he gives me the tulip. I twirl the flower in my hands and try to hide my flustered face. "Thank you, Garret." I say whole-heartedly.

I enter my house and let out a loud squeal.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!" My mom enters in her apron with a spatula in hand.

"Nothing." I hide the obvious smile on my face while I smell the flower and run upstairs.
