He taught you love.

But he also taught you pain.

He made you laugh.

But he also made you cry.

He was addicting. His brutal love was addicting. You loved it. You loved all of it.

But was it good for you?

Definitely not.

But did you care?

Now that's a tough question.
Even tougher answer.

You remember when you first met him. It was a late rainy night. Real cliché, right? But maybe that's actually how love blossoms. Anyway, you were working a late shift. Well late because you only could afford late shift as the entire day goes for studies.

Being a medical student is no joke.

With your face slumped on your right hand as you lazily gazed around the empty convenience store. It was a small store, owned by a very wise old man. Normally, in daylight, it's not as empty, but who goes out their way to have a grocery trip at 4 am in the morning? Not enough people to crowd the store. And not that you cared anyways. It payed you just the amount you needed so who were you to complain? That didn't stop the cursing of not being able to properly sleep tho-

Almost at the point of head slamming against the counter, the familiar ringing of a new customer entering shook you awake. Quickly putting on a very sweet smile but still genuine though (yes, you were that happy to receive money), you called out a short greeting.

....

No reply.

With a not-so-well-hidden sneer, you just watched as the almost hidden figure slowly came through the entrance and walk straight towards the shelves of snacks. Now, you understood that no one had the stamina to maintain a proper mind-set right, cause for fuck's sake it's 4 in the morning but that still didn't dissolve the ting of bitterness resting at the pit of your stomach but you ignored it anyway and sat back down.

10 minutes passes...

15 minutes passes.....

Ok..you were getting..a little concerned.

It would've been okay if you could hear the person shuffle around or just any type of noise. But there was none, not a single sound other then the deep rumblings of thunder outside. With a very concerned eyebrow raised, you slowly made your way to the same path as the unknown person in the store.
