Later that day, after the day classes had finished, the four dispersed. Donnie went to his robotics club, Mikey went to the arcade with his best friend I.C.K, (this was his nickname, of course. He was widely known through the school, at least in the 9th and 10th grades that is, for it.)while Leo and Raph headed to the main gym for basketball practice, which would run from 1:45-4:00 pm.

They all met up before going though, while Leo called their foster father to let him know where they would be.They were standing in a group, out near the main entrance of the school. As they stood in a sort of circle, the hustle and bustle of the other students that were leaving, swerved around them. With something like telepathy, they all strayed over to the side, under some of the now green spring trees. It was quieter over here, so it was easier to talk with eachother.

"Man, today sucked." Mikey said, letting out a huge yawn.
"Are you complaining about school? Or just about the whole day?" I.C.K teased, patting a hunched over Mikey on the shoulder.
Mikey flips him a look."School of course.I just can't believe that Mr.Stefford gave us a pop quiz about urban terminology."
Raph gives a sneer. "Wow, he still gives those? That must blow."
"Oh, believe me it does." I.C.K says with a slick smile. "Everything we do in that class is a major bore."
"Hey, it isn't that bad." Donnie objects. "It's pretty easy, if you listened to the earlier discussions he must've given you."

"Since When do I ever listen to things that are so booorringg?" Mikey asks.

"Hey, I never said that it was hard or anything. I just thought that it was boring too." I.C.K adds.

"I could expect that from you Mikey." Donnie chuckles."But I thought that almost nothing was ever boring to you, I.C.K? It was something that you were acclaimed for, wasn't it? Maybe Mikey's rubbing off on you."

I.C.K lets out a burst of air through his front teeth, a high whistle, and shrugs. "You said ALMOST nothing, Donnie. And, o'contraire, you are correct for saying that."
Donnie blinks at him. "Don't try to prove me wrong by using French terms when it's in the wrong context."
I.C.K laughs then looks at Donnie in that sort of half-lidded way that he could pull off. "Thanks for telling me. I wouldn't have known that I'd used it wrong."
"Then why did you use it?"

"It sounded cool. But, then again, I 'wouldn't know. Never took French."
Donnie raises his eyebrows."What did you take then?"
"Wouldn't you like to know, Mr.Know-it-all?"He says in a hushed sort of tone, with his chin raised at Donnie.
Donnie blushes profusely. For some reason, small pokes at his personality from I.C.K doesn't bother him the same way that comments from others did.Maybe it was because he knew that I.C.K didn't look to hurt people, or maybe it was the exact opposite.Maybe, it was just that he barely knew I.C.K's true personality at all.
But maybe Mikey did.
"Cooking." Mikey pipes up, rising from his hunched over position. He gestured to I.C.K, who, at almost 6'3', was taller than him by, at least, 4-5 inches. He shoots an annoyed glance at Donnie, as if he should already know this and just stop asking questions.A rare sight, getting an annoyed look from the usually laid-back younger brother. "He opted out his extra class last year for cooking."
Raph nudges Donnie. "Well, do you still cook then?"
"Not that much." I.C.K replied. "I quit the cooking club after a year.I mostly cook at home now."
"Why'd you quit?" Donnie asks.
"Heh. I didn't know it, but I had developed a high intolerance for most of the ingredients that we used in the dishes there. Poultry, more specifically. It wasn't used very often, but often enough that my mother prohibited me from joining it again this year."He said, raising his hands as if he couldn't change anything about it.
Raph nods. "Man, that must blow too."
"Pretty much." I.C.K agrees. "But it's not as bad as pop quizzes."
Mikey grins and nudges him from the side with his elbow.
"Besides," I.C.K continues. "It's not so bad. Because of that little dilemma, I decided to turn to sports instead."
"Why sports?"
I.C.K shrugs. "It's tennis, so the practices aren't as demanding."
"Well, I haven't taken tennis, but the practices do look pretty demanding. Maybe you're not playing it right, or maybe you're just bluffing.I haven't seen you play tennis before in my life."Raph intercepts.
He breaks into a broad grin, his eyes have a mischievous glint in them now, sort of, boasting, maybe, with those half-lidded eyes of his. "Whoa, you haven't given me a chance to finish. If you're really questioning my abilities then i'd like to see you try and take me on the court. But with the way I play it, it's quite easy."
Raphael opens his mouth to speak up again, he has the 'challenge accepted' phrase on his lips, but before he has a chance to say it, I.C.K shushes him.
"You'll get your turn." He promises. "But please let me continue, and then you'll understand."
Raph pouts but gestures at him to go on.I.C.K smiles at him, before getting to the true punch-line.
"Well, I mean," I.C.K continues. "As long as I fool around with the tennis instructors, I can take a day off whenever I please." He grins evilly.
"Duuude." Mikey elbows him in the side, as Donnie and Raph look at I.C.K with utter disbelief. They now stand silent. "You're not supposed to mention things like that."
"Why not?It isn't anything bad."
"No way." Donnie manages.
"I shit you not." I.C.K replies with ease. "It's the truth. Mikey can vouch for me."
Both Raph and Donnie look at Mikey, who nods to confirm this.
"You've gotta be kidding me." Raph says with awe."Kaitylnn is totally hot. So's Brianna. How in the hell did you manage that?"
"Just some manipulation, my friend." I.C.K says with a wink.
Mikey guffaws."That, and his face."
