Chapter 1: The Move In

I jumped out of the truck excited to see my new home . I was very glad that it was out in the country! I looked around the yard , well , more like a three-house lot that was separated by only grass and a couple of trees here and there . It was beautiful! The grass was somewhat tall , as I run my fingers through it and feel it's tickle , I walk towards the back of the house and see a couple of trees that reminded me of a pond tree with hair-like leaves . Underneath the trees I saw very wild bushes . Not the ones you would see in the park , more like long-leaved , sprawled -across bushes . I see a chicken wire fence behind the trees and wild bushes . I walk towards it follow the fence until I hear my name . "Rose !! Where are you?" My mother called "I'm out here at the fence line ! " I reply "Well come over here ,we've got food for ya ! " I walk towards the very big tree that was very alive , green , and was covered in flowers . It was big enough to sit under it . I vaguely see my mom , dad , uncle , sister , and our new landlord. " man I need glasses !" I think as I get closer and things become clearer . I feel the tickle of the grass again , wow I do love that feeling ! I finally came up to the tree , where I saw sandwiches, chips , and large sodas.
