Fluttering wings about
Never stopping, always fighting
for a way out
Leaving home was hard
Coming back was easy
They let go and push back
The little bird in the cage
Helpless and alone
Not knowing where to go
Always searching,
never finding the truth
Freedom just by her wings
Always something holding her back
