Hey there,
This book is,as you can see,a novella, a romantic novella to be exact,. It's a completed one and is well packed with all the aspects of a full novel,to be more specific, whatever a romantic novel enthusiast wants to have in a novel he or she loves to read, also has in this novella too,. This novella might have less chapters compares to a full length novel, but, that does not mean that this novella is lacking anything essential from a lengthy novel,. This book might have short chapters, but,it will give you the satisfaction of reading a full length novel once you have finished reading it and most important part of reading a novella is,that you will be finishing a book way more faster than a full lengthy novel and since these days nobody has a lot of time to spend in a lengthy novel and always so busy with life makes novella perfect for the hectic lifestyle and never disappoint a reader for choosing a novella instead of a lengthy novel,.
This book/story has taken from "Tale Of Love" a romantic novella collection series of mine which I have published on one of my Nathanprithvi accounts months ago,. All of the stories in that series are well written by famous authors and all of the stories deserves to be a standalone book, thus I am publishing those books as individual one, some are on here and others will be on other accounts of mine,. You would never be regretted or disappointed in ever giving a chance for this novella or other novellas from any of the " Tales Of Love" series,. All of the stories are incredibly beautiful and extremely pragmatic and the realistic nature of the stories will amaze you guys to your core and will be remembered as timeless pieces of writing art,.
So,that being said I am welcoming you guys to an incredible pragmatic and unforgettable experience of a romantic novella,.
Sincerely,
Nathan,.
18th June 2021CHAPTER 1
Weddings -how Clio Caldwell loathed them. Just the thought of white gowns and floral bouquets and "until death do us part" vows sent shivers of dread coursing through her.
Not because brides were among the most demanding clients she encountered at Maids in Chelsea, her elite agency for hospitality and domestic staff. Or because of her own failed marriage that had ended five years ago. Those were the reasons she gave her friends when they teased her about her aversion to matters matrimonial. The hurt she kept hidden deep in her soul was the wedding she'd walked away from fifteen years ago. She'd broken the heart of the man she'd adored. He had punished her by never speaking to her again. After all those years, just the mention of the word wedding revived an underlying regret and a nagging sense of "what if."
But avoiding weddings was difficult in Clio's line of business. Her agency provided impeccably trained staff for weddings and any other social function that needed discreet and reliable help. Occasionally one of her clients called in a favour and asked her to organise a wedding. Like Sir Michael Broderick, whose initial patronage had given her the big break that had sent the fledgling Maids in Chelsea business soaring.
She owed the older man and Sir Michael knew it. That was how London society operated. He had insisted that no one but Clio would do to organise his daughter's lavish winter wedding. The thought of planning a wedding on that scale had been daunting. But, Clio being Clio, she had pulled out all the stops to ensure the bride's big day would be memorable.
She'd started today buoyant that all was on track for the wedding. Now, less than twenty-four hours before the nuptials were due to start, catastrophe had struck. The wedding photographer-the one all the brides clamoured for-had just called to say he was in hospital with two broken legs. And no, he was not prepared to shoot the wedding from a wheelchair-even when Clio had offered to double, then triple, his already astronomical fee.
