A Week with Mr. Wrong

♥ MONDAY ♥

I looked up the blue sky.

Sana naging ibon nalang ako.

Simply because, i wanna be free.

I want to escape reality.

I was busy admiring the flying birds when my phone suddenly rang.

I compose myself when i saw who was calling.

Kuya ko pala.

"Hey Kuya? What's up?" Sagot ko with my usual jolly tone.

It's quite the opposite of what im feeling but kailangan kong mag kunwaring ok lang ako. Para sa kuya ko.

"Hey sis, asan ka ngayon? I'll pick you up. May event akong pupuntahan and Gusto ni tita na isama kita." Sabi nito

I heaved a deep sigh.

"Ang lalim nun ahh, is there any problem Reese?" Tanong ni Kuya

"Nothing kuya. Its just that i dont really want to go to parties. Alam mo naman yan diba?" Sagot ko.

I heard my brother sigh on the line. "Reese its been 9 months since nawala sina mommy. You have to at least let it go." Sabi nito.

9 months ago, namatay ang parents namin on a plane crash.

And i kinda felt responsible for it.

Kasi kung hindi ko sila pinakiusapan na umuwi para sa birthday ko,

Then they wouldn't have died.

"I understand kuya. Sige sasama ako. But i dont have anything to wear." Sabi ko

"Great! I'll pick you up right now. Where are you?" Tanong ni Kuya

"School Rooftop" simpleng sagot ko.

"Okay I'll be there in a jiffy" then he ended the call.

I looked at the sky again. And i closed my eyes feeling the fresh cold air engulfing my senses.

Nagising ako sa mahinang tapik na naramdaman ko sa pisngi ko.

"Reese"

"Hey Reese"

"Wake up"

Pag dilat nang mata ko, my brother's face was the first thing i saw.

"Let's go. Shopping tayo" he said helping me stand up.
