If He Likes Me?

1. First Time When I Felt It

This story is about a girl, Arisa, and a boy Rish. Arisa is a nerdy kind of girl but she is extrovert, sociable, and friendly of course.
Rish is one of her friends with whom she spends time as she spends with her other friends also.

But sometimes Rish confuses her with some clues...well she doesn't understand if those are just small gestures of being a friend or he likes her.

I hope you read this story to find what's going to happen with these two.

Arisa's POV

How shall I start?.. I m really confused?
Ok, so there is a boy, the same age as mine. His name is Rish, it sounds cool to me.
Well getting back to the point...I started feeling that he likes me.....
one day when...

There was another boy, named Duke but for me, he was a "Duck"...nothing more than that. He used to sit beside me in our private tuition(institution)

He thought I would be clueless even if he tries to flirt with me, but I was not dumb, who would let him play with me.
So, I decided to let him play for some days, then I will be the one playing with him.
Sounds fun, right?

However my plan didn't go well, I thought I was brave enough to face him but eventually, I felt uncomfortable and uneasy beside him. He was trying to get closer and closer to me. But I had no other choice at that moment.
Some of my friends knew that I was suffering because of him, so they requested Rish to sit beside me before Duke comes.

Accordingly, the next day Rish sat with me.

~we had benches, each made for 2 people ~

I didn't know why he sat beside me, but it felt comfortable and secured to be with him. Meanwhile, Duck saw us sitting together and went somewhere else.

The next day I found...Rish was with me all the time so that I don't feel uncomfortable with that guy. He was there to help me out.

After discovering the truth, the first thing which came to my mind was

he is doing so because others have requested him.

I felt bad that he has to be with me instead of breathing with his best friend.

So, again when he sat beside me, holding my courage together... even when I didn't want to say so, I said

"Rish, you don't need to sit here. You can be with your other friends and have fun with them. Just because of me....."

He entered in between, "yes... just because of you I am here. But it's not because someone requested me. It's because I want to be here."

Those words, those 2 lines continuously drives on my mind.
His gaze made my heart flutter, like never before.

The gap between us wasn't even 1 cm and which made me wonder...I felt what if he likes me?
