If He Likes Me?

6. Great time

I decided to be a host as he told me, everyone is going to follow my command. My decision would be the last and final.

"Ok, let's do this Mr.Host!!" I was cheered up.

"I hope you will do well," said Rish with a smile.
That smile, ahhh...it still lives in my heart.

I and Mr.Host sat like Kings on 2 chairs, with a table in front of us covered with white sheets.
We had sunglasses on and whistle on our hands. I felt like a boss.

"So, let's decide the teams!!!" Said Mr. Host as he whistles.

"Yes, yes. Rish, you will be in team A and Saya in team B. And rest, you can decide Mr. Host."

"No, we don't select team members like this. They need to pick out the papers from this bowl, in which team names are written."

"But, you told me, we will have power. So what is this????"

"Sorry, but not this"

I accepted it, making a pout.
And you know what,  Rish and saya were on opposite teams. I thanked God for making my wish come true.

Now, the games started with two different teams. I had fun watching them play those games. Whenever Liya or Rish won or scored a point, I cheered them a lot.
Others thought I was a biased host, but I don't care.

I gave few penalties and I disqualified some people, even though it wasn't their fault. Ok, I agree that I was a biased host, but no rules for me. Being a host was a nice choice.

After lunch, we were all tired and wanted some rest. We went back to our rooms. I just hoped over my bed and hugged a pillow to get some sleep, that's when I heard someone knocking on the door to my room.

"Liya!!! Open the door, we are here." Girls stood knocking on our door.

Liya opened the door and 4 of them came inside, Saya was also one of them.
"We are here to chat with you, since you can't come to our room, Arisha. So we came to meet you instead." One said and others nodded

"You guys are the best. Come inside, hop on the bed." I welcomed them with a big smile

"So, what do we do?" Asked Saya

"Here, I brought my camera. Let's connect it with your laptop and go through all the pics from yesterday." Exclaimed Liya and we were all ready.

After connecting it, we opened the folder where all photos were stored. We swapped photos one by one, cursor controlled by Liya.
Then, at one point, it was finally my picture with Rish, when he gave me piggyback.

"Woahhhhh!!! Arisha, you would have a lot of fun with him, right?"

"Yes, we can imagine, why your speed was slower than us. He wanted to spend more time with you, that's why he was walking slowly....we know it"

"Hey!! Don't be stupid. Do you think he is Hulk or something? Of course, anyone would walk slower if someone is hanging on their back." I replied, "now, just stop stalking the images. Let's watch a movie instead."

I snatched the mouse from Liya and disconnected the camera, to play some movie instead.

Actually, I was a bit nervous about that picture, it came out so suddenly, and I didn't want to face such a picture again. You can understand what I mean.

It was after 40 minutes, I guess when we heard some noises coming from the yard or lawn, which was just connected with my room.

"What is this sound? Who is shouting?" Said Liya

"Shall we check out, what's going on?" Suggested Saya

"Ok, let go," I said and held Liya's hand for some support.
Saya opened the door.

It was a bright afternoon, the sun was high. Coming out from the air-conditioned room, felt like a fire pit.

"What the hell is this!!???" My jaw dropped looking at the boys who were playing with water-filled bottles.

Spraying water on each other's head, hair, face, and everywhere, completely soaked with water. The clothes were almost see-through.

"My baby is almost a daddy now!!" Said one of my friends for her boyfriend.

"Hey!! Stop it. It's so cringing. Ughh!! " I replied. Then my eyes went to Rish, but he was wearing double layers of the t-shirt.
I missed my chance, why does he have to wear two layers when the sun is so hot....well sure, he doesn't know how to show off his body. My bad

Boys were playing on their own, not even looking at us when someone accidentally splashed water on us.
My face and top were drenched with water.

"Oh, I apologize. I didn't notice you girls were there." He apologized

"You should have been more careful. See, Saya and others are all wet now." Rish told him showing his concern for us

But why does he had to say, 'Saya and others'. Can't he say 'Arisha and others?'

"Since we are already wet, then let's join them. What do you say?" Asked Liya and others accepted it right away.

"Then what about me, Liya? I can't run behind you guys to pour water on you." I was hopeless again.

"I have one idea for you"
Liya said and put a chair in the middle of the lawn. She made me sit there with two water bottles in my hand.
"You sit here and we will drench you with water. You can also splash on us or whoever comes near you or pass through here."

"But how???" I was still confused

"Like this!!!" She poured the whole bottle of water on my head and I cracked up. Then I did what she told me. Some people used to hide behind my chair to avoid others, but I used to splash water on them.

Some squirmed in the ground, sneaking from me to make me taste the water from their bottles. We enjoyed ourselves a lot.
And as result, the lawn was a complete mess.
Then came Rish to me, "can I also?"
Asked me staring at his bottle as if asking permission from me.

"Ok, you can" the moment I said, he splashed water straight on my face.
The splash was strong enough to make me cough.

"Are you alright?" He asked in real concern "I didn't mean to splash it this way. I am sorry.  Are you hurt anywhere??"

"No, no. I am fine. I don't think I would need to wash my face again today" I said it as a joke to make him feel better.

"If you can make jokes, then I think you are fine. That's a relief." He laughed and caressed my hair like a puppy.

Shall I just bark with happiness??

"Guys, let's stop playing now. We need to get ready for the party tonight, and you know our ladies need a lot of time." Said, one guy.

I can't wear my dress...🥺😭😭

Well, playing in the water with friends is fun. For me, I also got a chance in the river to play with my friends. But I kept stopping them from doing so becz we might get cold and since it's covid time, it's not good.

But still, other guys played a lot and I was busy protecting myself from water.

Result: only I got cold the very next day🥺🥺
