Ty's POV:
I texted flame asking if she wanted to hang out. I got a response 5 minutes later saying "no sorry I'm shopping with my friends." Sadly I put my phone down and decided to surprise her at the mall.
~fast forward~
I got to the mall 10 minutes later and saw flame near the front doors looking at a blue and purple shirt. I sneaked up behind her and tapped her shoulder.
Ty: hi
Flame: woah u scared me
Ty: lol sorry
Flame: it's ok, so what are you doing here?
Ty: I came to do uh... some shopping
Flame: you sure about that? You don't sound very sure
Ty: positive
Flame's friend: ayo flame look at this shirt
Flame: woah that's a cute top
I ended up just leaving the mall and texting her later.
Flame's POV:
I walked over to where my friend was to look at the shirt and when I turned around to show ty, he was gone.
Flame: what the?
Jess: did anybody see him leave?
All: nope
Flame: ugh I'll have to text him later
I arrived home 30 minutes later with 2 bags full of clothes. I at down both bags, walked over to my bed and sat down. I got on my phone and texted ty saying "why did u leave the mall?" I didn't get a fast response so I decided to check twitter, that's when it happened.. he texted me saying "sorry I had to get some stuff done but chu wanna hang?" I said yes a little too fast but he told me to meet him at Starbucks in 10 minutes. I got to Starbucks and decided to get him a latte, after I got us lattes, I walked back outside I saw him sitting at a table with his head down. I sat next to him and we started talking.
Flame: hey ty
Ty: h-hey flame
Flame: what's wrong?
Ty: it's n-nothing -wipes away tears-
Flame: it's not nothing ty, you can tell me -puts my hand on his arm-
Ty: -looks at flame- my dad died
Flame: oh I'm so sorry for u
Ty: I'm fine tho, really
