"My kits." she scowled. "You want to hurt them?" she hissed. "Father I-" Garnet lunged. Swift stepped aside, and let a tear drop, and splatter on the ground. "I'm sorry." She pinned her father down. Unsheathing her claws, she poked them down on her father's throat. "I will protect my kits. As hard as it is." She nimbly cut a deep gash on Garnet's throat and walked away. She moved to a small abandoned rabbit burrow next to a tall oak tree. Four mewling kits were looking at her. She slowly and gently cuffed her tail around three, and placed them on her back, making sure they wouldn't fall off with her tail. She took a dark black kitten, and grabbed it by the scruff. She walked out of the forest. She didn't look back.
