Long ago in the country of Grance, lived a lovely couple. They were blessed with three children. Haru , Seji and Shion. Their father, who was a merchant, often left home until he injured his left leg. As the oldest daughter, Haru decided to follow in her fathers footsteps. She cut her hair to her ears, put on some muscles and left with her uncles in her fathers place. Her parents were proud of her but deep in their hearts they were always troubled with the feeling that she would one day never come back home. To their surprise ,Haru always came back. The Hazumi family only lived in bliss and happiness, they were content with their simple lives.
Haru was sitting in the corner of the cart as they were heading back into town. She had been out for longer than usual. The wind had been getting colder and the days shortened. Haru had one thought in her mind, " Getting back home". Haru was the only women in her circle, still Haru towered over the other men in the group and once beat a man with only two potatoes. After working for three years, Haru started to feel homesick and craved for her mother's cooking. As the night sky start to sink in, the cart got closer to the town. "Stop here!" Haru yelled. She got out the cart and went straight to the woods. As she went deeper into the woods she started running faster and faster. She was overjoyed to finally be home, to finally see her family for she had been absent for one whole month.
