Shunka Pt 1

Stiles spoke with Alaric at the school about his powers. ''So you were a born alpha?'' Alaric asks and Stiles nods. ''Yup, one of the first of my kind.'' He says. ''Usually you would have to beat an alpha to gain the status.'' Alaric says. 

''Yeah well, I don't.'' Stiles says. As they continued talking, the door opened and a female officer along with Hope enter. 

''Hello there. You must be Principal Saltzman.'' The officer greets and Alaric shakes her hand, looking like he was in a trance. 

Stiles and Hope looked at each other and smiled, feeling great seeing each other again.

''Y-yes that's me. What can I help you with?'' Alaric asks. ''I'm here to talk about one of your missing students.'' The officer says and both Alaric and Stiles looked confused.

''Yeah, sorry I haven't seen him.'' Alaric says as he handed back a picture of one of the bullies Stiles, who is invisible like Hope, knows about. ''Like I said, I'm pretty new here.'' The principal adds.

''Well, his team mates last saw him at the old mill by the Salvatore School. We found his truck abandoned and his hunting rifle nearby.'' The officer says and both Stiles and Hope think it could be something to do with another monster.

''Okay, well I'll check with his classmates and teachers. I wish I could be more helpful. But like I said, I'm still getting to know the students around here. And the sheriff. I was friends with the old one.'' Alaric says. ''Please, no more stories about how great Sheriff Donovan was. His shoes are already big enough.'' The Sheriff says. ''And this is my first real case since I moved from the city. Truthfully, I didn't mind that my biggest concern up to this point was a rash of missing dogs.'' She adds.

Stiles and Alaric both widen their eyes a little bit but hid their surprise. ''Maybe they're connected.'' The Sheriff says. ''Maybe.'' Alaric says, slightly nervous. They laughed and both Stiles and Hope smiled. 

The Sheriff stood up and shook Alaric's hand. ''I'll leave you my phone number.'' She says. ''Call me anytime.'' She adds before leaving, Alaric staring after her. 

''Did you get all that?'' Alaric says once the sheriff left. Hope appeared in Alaric's chair with Stiles right next to her, which made her blush a little from the closeness. 

''Yeah.'' She said. ''She's definitely into you.'' Stiles sang. The two teens chuckle as Alaric blushed. ''W-what? No. No, she's just trying to make friends.'' He stutters. ''Which is exactly what you need to be doing.'' He adds, looking at Hope.

''Yeah, well, tried that last year. Didn't really work out. So I'm gonna be focus on monster slaying.'' Hope says. ''Well it sounds like there's another monster lurking around the Salvatore School.'' Stiles says. ''I'll check in with Dorian since he has access to research we don't. Any other ideas?'' He then asks the two. 

''Just one.'' Hope says. ''But uh, we're all going to hate it.'' She says. ''Eh, I can handle it.'' Stiles says, looking confident.

''Nope. I regret saying I can handle it.'' Stiles says, sitting next to Hope on the bus filled with football players. Hope chuckled. ''Knew it.'' She says and Stiles nudges her.

Stiles remembers how he and Scott would usually do this. Sit together in a bus, messing around with each other. He frowns as he remembered him betraying him and dismisses the thought.
