Chapter 6

     "I'm bored," I whined collapsing on the huge armchair.

     "Want to go to the Black Lake," Charlie asked.

     "Been there, done that," I groaned.

     "Want to go on a walk," Charlie asked.

     "I don't have anything better to do so why not," I answered getting up.

     Charlie and I walked out of the common room walking in a random direction.

     "Can we go to the library," Charlie asked.

     I shrugged, "Sure but why?"

     "Madame Pince got a new collection of Magical Creature books and I want to see if there is one about dragons," Charlie said excitedly.

     Charlie's favorite class was Care for Magical Creatures and loved animals but his one favorite is dragons.

     "Ah makes sense," I said laughing.

     "Then we can go to Hagrid's," Charlie suggested.

     "Alright, hurry up, I may also have to get a book for Astronomy to complete my homework," I said.

     "I knew you still had homework," Charlie said.

     "Shh," Madame Pince tutted when we walked into the library.

     "Alright old hag," I muttered.

     Charlie laughed, "You need to stop being rude to her!"

     Madame Pince glared at us.

     "The new books are on that shelf," Charlie said running over.

     "Quiet," Madame Pince yelled.

     There is a rumor that she is secretly dating Filtch the caretaker or whatever. I believe he was married to his cat though.

     "Look at this," Charlie said shoving a book of 'How To Tame A Dragon'.

     "Take the book and get out," Pince said angrily.

     Charlie quickly checked out his book. I suppose I could get my Astronomy book later. We headed to Hagrid's hut after that.

     I knocked on Hagrid's huge door.

     Hagrid opened the door straight away, "Delila', Charlie, c'mon in!"

     "Hey Hagrid," I said going inside.

     "Hagrid guess what I got," Charlie said excitedly.

     "Let me guess, something about dragons," Hagrid said going to make us tea while Fang came and sat at my feet.

     "Yes look at this," Charlie said showing him the book.

     " 'ow Ta Tame A Dragon," Hagrid read.

     "You reckon we could get our hands on a dragon egg," Charlie joked.

     "You wish," I said laughing at Charlie

     "I 'ope to own a dragon egg one day but it is illegal," Hagrid said sadly.

     "So um...dragons are cool," I said feeling left out.

     " 'ere ya go," Hagrid said placing some tea and moon cakes.

     By now I knew how Hagrid's food tastes but didn't want to be rude. Hagrid is really a good friend.
