Welcome to the family of stars
We've got everything we want
Nothings not ours
Galaxies of possibilities
A house of diamond and silver
Mountains of jewelry and the finest crystal liquor
But if you look a little closer
You may learn our favorite game
The only thing we really share is one last name
And it's always me that puts us all to shame
They say I'm the one who blows up
When they're the one's screaming
There are echos in the halls of everything I'm missing
Little brother's not allowed to cry
Because apparently, we don't have feelings
So the tears dripping off my jaw aren't mine
I promise
The crescent marks laid on my palms aren't what they seem
And the blue and green painted on my skin isn't what you see
The shaking form that is my brother
Shouldn't pay you any bother
Because we've both been taught
Emotions aren't proper
So with tears on my face, and blood on my cheeks
I pray to any god that will listen
That I won't be like my mother or my father

Welcome to the family of stars
