Transformers Prime Revenge isn't always the answer

Chapter 3

Miko had been on the ship for a couple days. And Soundwave told Megatron Miko had to go to school. If she was going to be any help, she needed her education. Megatron thought it over and agreed with his third in command.

Miko once told she had to go back to school, yelled at them she didn't want to go. Knockout stared at her with wide optics as she yelled at Megatron. And Megatron was silent as she yelled.

"Your awfully brave to raise your voice at me femme, but if you feel that strongly about not going to this school. I'll have Soundwave teach you what you need to learn for a couple hours a day" Megatron said.

"You'd do that?" Miko asked.

".....if it'll get you learning then yes" Megatron said.

"Miko: will start education lessons tomorrow early" Soundwave said.

"Fine, wait...how early?" She asked.

"Time: regular school hours" the silent mech said.

"Aw man....fine" Miko nodded.

Soundwave nodded and got back to work. Megatron allowed Knockout to leave, now the two were on their way to the med bay. Miko sitting on Knockouts shoulder.

Vehicons watched Knockout pass by with Miko sitting on his shoulder. She didn't really trust them, but they each had to learn to live with each other. She figured she could manage them so long as she was with someone.

Miko yelped as Knockout took hold of her and placed her on a counter. Knockout arranged tools here and there. Checked for up coming appointments and basically waited for injured Vehicons to come in.

"It's slow huh?" She spoke.

"Sometimes...trust me it'll get busy in here in no time at all" Knockout frowned.

".....is it hard to work without him here?" Miko asked.

"...it can be...but I manage" Knockout shrugged.

(Time skip)

Miko was walking around the halls, quietly walking behind Starscream, who was was currently walking down the same hall. She figured he was patrolling the halls.

Starscream however knew she was behind him, but he would humour her a little. He figured she was bored. He looked down one hall that had three Vehicons who were talking about something.

"You three, if you have time to talk. You have time to do your jobs" Starscream said.

"Yes commander Starscream" they said rushing off.

"Hmpth...as for you, shouldn't you be with Knockout?" Starscream asked turning a bit.

"How did you know I was here?" Miko asked.

"Child I'm not stupid...I can hear you trying to keep up" the seeker smirked.

"Oh....well...he got busy with a bunch of injured troops, so I figured I'd go for a walk and I saw you walking around" Miko said.

"I'm patrolling the halls...like most of the Vehicons. Now I should get back to my job" Starscream said.

"Can I come with you? Please" Miko begged.

"You want to come with me on a slow job?" The seeker asked.

"I don't have anything better to do" Miko said.

Starscream gave a loud sigh and picked her up, turning back around he continued with his one job. Miko happily sitting on his shoulder.

(Night time)

Knockout walked into his room to see Miko sitting on the berth. Knockout smiled as he watched her play on her phone.

"You should rest, you have lessons starting tomorrow" Knockout said.

"God...don't scare me..do I have to go to bed now?" Miko asked.

"It would be wise yes" Knockout said.

Miko knew he was right, and so she laid down on the huge pillow. Knockout smiled as she closed her eyes. The mech sighed looking around, so he figured he'd lay down and try to recharge.

(Couple hours later)

Some time in the middle of the night Miko woke up from a nightmare. She sat up and tried to calm her breathing. She noticed Knockout who was in recharge.

She crawled closer to his face and curled next to his optics. She was happy he was on his side, she was able to curl up close to his face.

"What are you doing?" A tired voice asked.

"I'm sorry, I had a nightmare" Miko said.

"...sigh....just try to go back to sleep, nightmares are just another dream...they can't do anything to you" Knockout said.

(Day time)

Miko sat crossed legged, listening to Soundwave in the corner of the med bay, that both Soundwave and Knockout set up for her to learn.

Miko had some books and note books that Soundwave had managed to get ahold of. She didn't ask questions but happily accepted them from the silent mech. As she listened to the recordings of historical lectures she was surprised that she was taking notes.

They had tackled English and math already and history was her last lesson for the day. When the timer went off, Soundwave cut the video and looked at Miko.

"Any homework Sounders?" She asked.

"Miko: will write essay on pyramids thousand words" Soundwave said.

"Ok I can do that...I think...anything else?" She asked.

"....Soundwave: will give Miko math test in five days" Soundwave added.

"Man...what subject? Multiplication?, division? Fractions? Algebra?" Miko asked.

"....test: will be both division and fractions" Soundwave said.

"Dude I do have a lot of studying to do" Miko whined.

"Then you should get started, and Soundwave Megatron will be waiting for you to show up" Knockout said.

Soundwave nodded and gave Miko a pat on the head gently with a single digit. Taking his leave he left Miko puzzled. knockout laughed at her.

"He's saying he's proud of you for doing so well and keeping up with him" Knockout said.

"He's....proud of me?...really?!" Miko smiled brightly.

"Of course, usually only Megatron and Starscream can keep up with him, or that small human boy you hung out with seemed to be able to keep up with him" Knockout said.

"Raf is smart...I'm surprised Sounders didn't try to do anything to stop Raf" Miko said.

"He may be our third in command, and strong and unreadable but he does have a spark. We all do doll, but if we show our softer side we get killed, no room for soft sparked weaklings on this ship" Knockout said.

"....why do you all stay then if you don't wanna really fight?" Miko asked.

"...like the autobots will give us so much of a sliver of a chance to try and change? They want us either imprisoned or dead...what choice do we have but to fight?" Knockout asked.

"Become your own fraction, don't be on either side but your own! Like Starscream did" Miko said.

"....maybe but the autobots still didn't want anything to do with him" Knockout said.

"Then we stick together...we won't show our soft side to anyone but each other, and show the rougher side to the others" Miko said.

"Your something you know that" Knockout smiled.
