The unknown place - (Diluc x reader)

You open your eyes as you notice you're in a strange place. You tried to stand up as your legs are weak, you manage to gain enough strength and you looked around at this place right in front of you.

You're on a bridge, beside you is a little boy. You look forward, and see a bunch of windmills and houses and shops.

"This isn't home...where am I"

"Are you lost?" A voice called out to you. As you turn around you see a blonde boy with brown eyes and beside him... a little floating girl...

"Please where am I" you say to the boy. He tilts his head in confusion, "you're in mondsadt" he says with a smile. "Mond...sadt...?" You say back to him.

Aether POV:

This girl... who is she, I've never seen her before.
Paimon whispers in my ear and says "do you think she is like you?..."
I just look at paimon as she could be correct.

"Do you know how you got here?"
There was a long pause before the girl had said "I-I can't remember... all I know is this isn't my home"

There was a long pause before I asked her "what is your name?"

"Y/N..." she hesitated...
"That's such a nice name! My name is Aether, and this is Paimon"
"nice to meet you" she had a sad expression, I guess I can understand, just randomly showing up in a different world, not knowing anything about it.

Y/N POV:
I want to go home... I don't know where I am.
This has to be just a dream-
"Let's get you to the Knight of Favonious, maybe they can help"

As you are about to take a step forward your legs feel numb...weak... your legs they just lose all their strength under you. You feel a pair of arms catch you and help you stand up straight again... aether helps you walk to the Knights headquarters.

You both walk in to this beautiful place. Tile floors, paintings on the walls, and right ahead we're some stair. Aether helping you turn to the left to the first door. He knocked and you heard a voice saying "come in"

Aether opens the door and standing there is a Tall blonde Woman, bright blue eyes.
Her attention goes straight to you, she quickly grabs a chair for you to sit on.
"thank you" you said to her with a trembling voice.

This lady introduces herself "I am Jean, it looks like you're new, what is your name?"
"Y/N" I said to her.
"That name doesn't sound like someone from around here, where are you from?"

Aether spoke up and said "I had asked her earlier and she doesn't know, all she knows is this isn't her home"

The door opened behind us, a tall man with dark blue hair and an eye patch walked in.
He looked like he was about to say something as he turned his attention right to me and smiled.

You started to get really nervous and aether noticed.
"Thank you Jean but I think we are going to go on a walk."
Aether helped you up and walked out the door.

Next thing you know you both are outside.
A lady comes running up to aether and panting she says "Aether you have to come... there are Hilichurls on the bridge trying to get into mondstadt!"

Aether panicked not knowing where to bring you.
"Can you stand up yet?" He said with a worried expression.
You put pressure on your feet and they were still a bit numb but you managed to stand.
"Ok I will be right back stay there" he said running off.

You didn't want to just stand there and wait, you wanted to see what a Hilichurl was...

So you retraced your steps on how you got to this building your legs still feeling weak.You saw the bridge, as well as aether fighting off these fluffy looking monsters.

It was dark out so you decided to walk forward to get a better look... when you turned around and saw a giant fluffy looking creature with a shield.

You couldn't move you were to scared. The thing in front of you Lifted it's shield And hit you with it causing you to Hit the ground. You squealed And aether looked back and saw you on the Ground,
"Y/N!!" He screamed, he tried to run back to me but more hilichurls were running up to him and attacking.
The giant hilichurl in Front of me Hit me again with its shield but even harder than the first time.
The next hit was right to the head... everything... went blurry... but right before everything went black You saw red, "fire?"
Everything went black...
