Chapter 1
"You've got to be shitting me."
"Hannah language," my mum said from across the room,
I cross my arms over my chest and fought away a scowl on my lips.
"We thought it was the best idea seems your plans with your friend fell through and you've not left yourself enough time to get somewhere else before term starts," my dad explained.
I rolled my eyes. It wasn't my fault that Leah's student finance wasn't enough to cover the rent and the landlord wouldn't take her parents as a guarantor.
"It will be nice to live with your brother," my mum explained trying to make the situation better and to soften the blow, "and just think when he leaves university in a couple years the flat will be yours."
"I don't want to live with Teddy I want to have my own life."
"I'm sorry dear, it's too short notice to find you anywhere now and get everything sorted before term starts."
I shook my head and stared at the carpet, making it obvious, if its wasn't before, that I wasn't happy.
"You don't have any other choice."
