The waitresses immediately opened the doors upon seeing two particular customers amongst the crowds in Liyue Harbour. Their unique appearance was distinct, as they wore expensive-looking clothing and possessed rare golden eyes and vibrant hair colours.
"Welcome! Please allow me to lead you to your table."
Workers warmly greeted the Takeuchi siblings, standing by the sidelines and respectfully bowing their heads. Both Akari and Xiao often come to Third-Round Knockout, the most luxurious restaurant within the city, to meet the Geo Archon, Zhongli.
Akari's eyes turned into half-moon crescents as she nodded at the workers, whereas Xiao silently followed suit with his usual frown displayed. They soon arrived at a secluded room separated from others, with the waitress announcing their arrival before opening the door.
"Zhongli-san!" The Takeuchi sister beamed once she burst through the entrance, not surprising the sitting man as he is already used to her antics. And happily skipping towards the male, Akari engulfed him in one big, warm hug; it has been far too long since she last saw the Archon.
The brunette lightly chuckled and mentioned, "you saw me three days ago, Akari."
"And that's a very long time, Mister!" Akari poutingly emphasized his name before tightening her grasp on his slim waist. The ravenette nuzzled her face into his warm neck, enjoying the comforting warmth he emitted until her dear brother forcibly separated them.
Xiao deadpanned at the sight of his sister being overly affectionate with the Geo Archon, judging how touchy she can be with everyone. And since Zhongli rescued them from an evil deity, he believed they should display the utmost respect and act efficiently for the saviour.
"So, why did you invite us here?" Xiao got straight to the point as he seated himself. His bluntness was no surprise to anyone, as he's not one that went round-and-round.
