Getting off her bus, Herin tightly grasped her bag straps while walking under the lavish sunlight.

The evening sun casted long shadows on the ground. The slanting rays of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky. The sky was ablaze with the fire of the setting sun.

It was rare,
The vivid soul who always semmed to smile brightly during her hardest times, Found it so difficult to smile at the current moment.

She didn't know why his words affected her this much.

As every other person, she did have a lot of ignorant people surround her once. But she didn't think anything of it, taking it all in a positive energy and beaming through.

But now,
It was as if her content spirit had been sucked out her.
She was strongly wretched.

Looking around, her eyes were met with an angry couple who were screaming at the each other, kids brawling, an old man lashing out at a cashier.

Everything was so erroneous.
She was deeply saddened by the cruelty of this world.

But while walking, Herin was suddenly stopped by a cretin noise, a specific sound coming from the side of the street.

She gasped.
A cat?

Looking at the soft fur of his, Flowing by the gentle breeze of summer as it shone on his full white layer. His face round circle while its eyes stared at her, huge and innocent.

A Scottish fold.

A white Scottish fold cat. Insanely loved by Herin.
She quickly bend down and picked the meowing cat up in her arms.
Glancing down at the cardboard box he was in, Herin observed it's envioremnt.

He was an abandoned cat.

"Who wouldn't want you..."
Herin looked down, Frowning sadly at the cat that layed comfortably in her arms, her tender touches that brushed agaisnt his fur caused him to relax in her arms.

She didn't want to leave him in the box, all alone and hungry but she also couldn't take him home.

Herin bit her lip, thinking deep as she looked around the street.
People passed by, not batting an eye at the cats box.

Herin let out a weary sigh, leaning in and placing the cat down inside the box.
And as she did, the cat meowed desperately. His paws trying to hold her sleeves while she placed him in.

Herin stood Staring at the cat, musing as she did so. His eyes never left hers as he was met with coldness when she set him down. Nails scratching the box he was in, looking at her in anguish.

Herin chuckled. Her lips forming a smile she needed.

She picked him up again and held him close to her, walking her way to her house.

Through her whole walk she had one thing on her mind,
Why is reality is so cold

--

"I'll get it!"
Taewon sounded his voice, assuring as he walked to the front door, opening it just to have a form Panic rise in him

"Oh, Saewoo?" His eyes met at her nervous ones.

"I called her over. Come one woo, let's go." Herin smiled at Taewon and grabbed Saewoo's hand, flooding off her her room.

"Are you okay woo? How are you feeling?"
Herin closed her door and Saewoo sat on her bed.

"O-Oh, Yeah I'm fine now..."
"Are you sure?"

Herin sat next to her while her eyes held sprkled with worry.
Saewoo's lips curved up to a sad smile. Feeling culpable at the secret she knew. Blaming herself and Gulping down her sorrowful state, she nodded at her Herin.

"I'm sure."
"But you don't look alright though?"

Saewoo shaked her head,
"I told you bae, I'm fine."

"Okay..If you say so."
Herin flashed a gummy smile and stood up. "WelI I...have someone I'd like to introduce you to."

Saewoo knitted her brows,
"Who?"

Herin glanced around her room, glintly looking for a specific white creature in the spacious room.
As she rushed to her closet, Saewoo gazed in utter confusion.

"Meet, Oreo!"
Herin walked out, a flully, full white cat in her arms. Her lips forming the biggest smile she had in a while.

Saewoo chuckled loudly at the sight, strolling up to her in excitement. "He's so cute! Where did you get him?" Herin handed Oero over to Saewoo. "Someone abandoned him in the streets, so I took him in."

Saewoo nudged her nose by his nose, playfully raising him up in the air. "He's so adorable!"

Herin laughed in agreement.
"Glad you like him."

"Like him? I love him!"
Saewoo held him up agaisnt her chest, hugging hum tightly while cuddling.

It was defiantly a stress relief for both of them.

"Um..Woo?"
Herin began, taking a seat on her bed.
"Yeah?" Saewoo who was busy enjoying herself with the cat hummed.

"I want to- like, I wanna.."
Saewoo glanced at Herin who was fiddling her fingers.
"Spit it out Rin."

"I want to change myself.."
"Change yourself?"
Saewoo put Oreo down and walked over to Herin.

"Like...I don't want to be...kind?"
An addled frown formed on Saewoo's face, she suspiciously eyes Herin.

"What do you mean you don't wanna be kind? Why would you think that?"
"Um, I don't know..I just want to be more tough I guess.."

Saewoo squinted her eyes, sceptical.
"Did someone say something?" Herin shot her head up "What? No! No one said anything, I just...want to be stronger.."

Not being persuaded even a bit Saewoo crossed her arms. She knew Herin wasn't the type to say anything like this. She would never change herself for anything.
She was an angel to heart, talking on a whim.

"What happened at school?"
Herin's palms began the peak of their, the moisturising liquid creeping up.
"N-Nothing, I told you just want to be stronger....Can you help me?"

Saewoo sighed and sat beside her. Not wanting to confine in her little bubble.
"Fine, if you say so."

They cracked out laughter at her repeated words.
