The teacher told us it was time to write letters to loved ones or to a friend, something outdated that won't be necessary in the real world but it's calming for some odd reason. I held my pen shaking slightly before pulling my notebook from my desk. In the neatest handwriting I could muster I wrote

"To the loved one I won't be able to meet,

You're all I think about..."

It wasn't my first time writing something like this and it wouldn't be the last. I held my pen more tightly trying not to cry as I think more about you. 'What's the point... I know they won't be able to reply back, fate is cruel' I try and recompose myself and begin writing once more.

"Every day I sit reading the adventures you go on, laughing with you at your funny moments, smiling at your best moments sometimes you have me astonished in the adventures yet crying when you start to lose faith in what you want to accomplish.
The growth you have made is amazing I aspire to be someone like you or at least have someone like you in my company. My heart aches yet burst into joy when I read about your adventures, you are never too far away from my heart and my reach. I wish I could see you in person and see how you would be in this realm of society or how I could be in yours.
Fate is cruel, keeping us apart when maybe...we were meant to be? I would love to gaze into those ambitious eyes of yours, oh how they light up when they talk about your passions and interest. Unfortunately, I cannot for you are merely a person on paper and I of flesh.
One day, my love, when we are reincarnated in another lifetime maybe we'll meet and then you can tell me all the adventures you had in your lifetime.

-Forever and always yours, A Soulmate who was never meant to be"
