***Aizawa's Pov***

Just as always, Y/n was working late at the hospital and that left me home alone again.

We hadn't had a proper night together in so long, it felt like we were avoiding each other.

I opened the fridge and found a meal waiting to be heated up so I took it out and found a note on it.

I noticed the writing straight away;

Hey, when I woke up you were gone so I made you dinner knowing that I was probably gonna be staying late again.

I'm so sorry for not cooking a fresh meal in a long time, I really miss you and I hope to see you soon!

I placed the note to the side and reheated the food, it smelt like she was in the kitchen cooking again.

I was sitting on the couch, watching something on the TV, when the door slowly opened and soft patters of feet came towards the kitchen.

The fridge opened and a soft sigh came from soft lips.

"I'm glad he ate something." She whispered, her footsteps pattered back to the door and she locked it before walking into the room.

I pretended to be asleep on the couch as she walked into the living room.

"Baby, I'm so sorry for not coming home sooner!" She cooed, her soft hands cupped my face and she ran her lips over my forehead and nose.

***Y/n's Pov***

Walking into the lounge room, I saw my baby curled up in his sleeping bag, asleep on the couch.

I made a small pout then cupped his spikey face in my hands. "Baby, I'm sorry for not coming home sooner!" I cooed, I kissed his forehead and nose until he moved and looked at me.

"Hey." He croaked, I smiled softly and ran my hands through his knotted hair, he closed his eyes and lent into my touch.

"I'm sorry for not being home these past few nights, its just that work has been loaded with the sick!" I whispered, he hummed and his head fell into my palm completely as his soft snores filled the silence.

I tapped my fingers on his cheek and used my quirk to elevate him off the couch and towards the bedroom, I layed him down then walked out to turn the lights and TV off before walking back into the room and getting under the covers.

I wriggled in closer to Shota and he wrapped his arms around me.

He kissed my forehead and mumbled "I love you" as we both fell into a deep sleep.
