Chapter 2- I Will Do Anything To Keep You Happy

I shuffle through the long hallways, trying to find my doctors office. I stop in front of a long glass window and stare into it. I look specifically at the mothers and fathers around me, pointing at there bundles of joy. Why can't I have that? I had the perfect family, my two baby girls, and I was engaged to the Harry Styles. Millions of girls around the world would had loved to be in my place. But I came to find out that Harry Styles is a cheater. He is a lying bastard. He didn't even care about his family that he had; he just wanted to be with Taylor Swift.

I feel a tear escape from my eyes and I am quick to wipe it away. I see a sign that reads "Dr. Fisher's office this way." I rush in that direction and soon enough I see his door. I quietly walk in and see him sitting at his desk. "Ahh, Ms Clarke! How are you today?" I take a seat in a black leather chair. "I'm fine, thank you. How are you?" He smiles warmly and shrugs. "Busy, day today. Apparently a lot of people are getting pregnant." I fake a smile.

"Well that is actually why I am here, sir. I think I am pregnant." I stare off into space as I await for his answer. "Cassidy" I hear a faint voice say. "Cassidy!" The voice get's louder. "Cassidy!" It says again, but now there are cries in the background. "Cassidy wake up!"

I snap my eyes open, and the world is blurry, there is someone in front of me but I can't make out who it is. I rub my eyes, and I blink a few times. The blurriness fades away and Danielle is standing over me with Carson in her arms. "Good you're up!" She sighs happily, and plops down on the bed next to me. "Now I am... What time is it?" I look around trying to find my phone but Danielle interrupts me. "7:30" She replies like it's nothing. I would yell at her but the sound of Logan's cries fill my ears.
I jog into his room, and as I come into view he quiets down. He looks up at me with his big blue eyes. "How's my baby boy, this morning?" He puts his fist in his mouth, and I gently pick him up. His head falls on my shoulder and I smile slightly. When I approach my room I see Danielle laying in my bed with Carson asleep next to her.

"Dani?" She rolls over, and smiles when she sees Logan. She opens her arms, wanting to take him, I hesitate but hand him over slowly. "Why are you here so early?" She shrugs her shoulders, and coos at my baby. "I was lonely and Carson woke up at 6 crying. So here I am!" I shake my head. Why couldn't she go to Eleanor's? She would have loved to be woken up at 7:30 in the morning.. Note the sarcasm...

"You could have gone to Eleanor's ya know. Her kids actually let her sleep during the night..." I think of my long night last night. Lilly woke me up at least twice last night to refill her sippy cup. And when Lilly woke up crying, it woke Violet up and then she started crying, then I had to put two crying babies asleep. It was one hell of a night... "The girls kept me up all night..." She nods. "So you wanna go somewhere today? I have off?"

"Yeah that sounds fun! Where do you wanna go?" She sits up with Logan in her arms. I begin to feel nervous and I scoop him up in my arms. "Hey! What was that for? I was fine with him!" She stands up and tries to take him back but I turn away so she can't grab him. I am very, very protective, and kind of attached to my children. "You know I am weird about my kids Danielle... I barely let my own mother hold them.." She rolls her eyes playfully and drops back down on my bed. "I have something to tell you." She smiles nervously and I go to the end of the bed, sitting down."Hit me."

"Uh the night before Liam left for tour we.. did things.." She scratches her head, trying to think what to say next. Is she trying to tell me what I think she is? "Danielle... Are you pregnant?" Her eye pop out of her head, and she slowly nods her head. "Yes.." A smile creeps up on my face and I look down at baby Carson sleeping. I wrap my arms around my best friend, and sigh. I can not believe that Dani is having another baby. Another Baby Payne. Wow.. "Do you know the gender yet?" She shakes her head I shrug my shoulders. "Well I am very happy for you Ms. Peazer." We both smile, and Logan joins in.
