*BEEP* *BEEP* That’s a familiar sound. It’s the alarm going off because it’s finally saturday.

On days like today, your average teen is usually sleep, scrolling on Tik Tok, or in our story,

“Serving your weekly dose of watchtower propaganda”. What a time to be alive!

“CEVONTE! TIME TO GET UP WE'RE GONNA RUN LATE DEAR!” Yells mom who is across the hall. This is your clock's third attempt at waking you up. Because there is a snooze mode limit. Mom comes stomping into the room as if she was in a foot race. “CEVONTE!”. She yells as she reveals the curtains open, thus burning his eyelids. “I don’t understand why your still sleep, it’s the MEMORIAL campaign sweetie!”, she says in her preppy tone. Cevonte doesn’t respond. His mom then unveils his warm blankets  to see that he already had on his meeting clothes. “Haha! I'm always a few steps ahead of you mama!’ He exclaims jokingly. “Aww your so zealous sweetie it makes mama so proud to see what your becoming! Isn't this way better  instead of taking you to that lousy and WORLDLY summer camp!”

“Well you didn't have to actually bring it up.” He thought to himself. He just smiled from ear to ear. Making sure his mom doesn’t know that he still has a burning desire to do something different from spiritual things for once in his life. At this point we don’t know much about our good jw friend here other than that  he’s...a good jw. Cevonte is a freshman in high school and his jw friends from the kingdom hall all go to the same high school together.

I don’t want to go into every detail yet, you’ll get a sense of every character as our story progresses. It’s a crazy ride. So buckle up and pray that your jw, elders, or anyone else find this extraordinary book of “fictional apostasy”. Let’s continue.

We find ourselves with one of cevonte’s closest friends, AJ. Him and his dad are up bright and early driving to the service meeting. As he is the conductor for this group.

“Hey bud are you ready to please our heavenly father and his son for the memorial?” he exclaims excitedly. “Yeah yeah i’m sooo THRILLED”. He says tiredly. “Why do you sound so tired? You weren’t up all night playing that Hexbox again were you?’ his dad says worried.

Catching himself he says “oh i was just up late because i had to study and research for this campaign that’s all’.he explains as he driffs back into slumber. Little did his father know that he borrowed Mortal Kombat 11 from a classmate the week before. “Ok son just checkin on ya, just remember that Jehovah watches you even when i’m not around”.”And i know you love your lil video games but, just be wary of what games you play.” He says in a way like he knew something. “Hey dad?” askes AJ, “how come mom doesn’t never comes do the campaign with us a family”? “Well son, your mother, she has been expressing some douh-”. Before he could finish his sentence, his cell phone was ringing. It was his boss calling. “Hm. I wonder why Mr.Blackwood is calling me on a saturday.” says AJ’s dad puzzled. *DUN DUN DUN*
