"Lia get up everyone overslept and you're going to be late for school" Lia's mom said whisperly. Lia gets up and walks into the bathroom after she gets dressed to she can find out the flat iron isn't working. " Mom the light and the flat iron isn't working!" I know sweetheart during the night the power went out and we don't have any hot water either so you can't take a shower" Lia's mom said. " But mom it's picture day today" Lia whined. " You'll be fine" Lia's mom said. When Lia finally got in the car to go to school she said "Mom I don't want to go to school" When she finally got to school her friends started asking questions and when she got in the hallway everyone started laughing at her hair and were saying mean comments. When she finally was ready to take her picture she sneezed right in the middle of it! " Achoo" she sneezed. When Lia got home she showed her mom her pictures. " When we look at these pictures we'll remember them as the day we lost power" Lia's mom said .
